Hey all,

Just starting a new run of 15 Tahoe OG (CaliConnect) from clone in a 4x4 tent under a 600 HPS.

Nutes: Canna Coco A & B
GH CalMg
Blue Moon Mega Roots
Liquid/Powdered Kool Bloom

Coco : Using Dutchman coco this round. I have no experience with it, but I thought I'd try it.

Look everyone. World's best. Oh my God! I didn't realize I had the best coco in the world.

It looks and feels just like Canna coco.

The Dutchman has more garbage in it. Bits of plastic, chunks of coco husk, little unidentified white specks, and I found something that may have been a horse tooth also. It has no smell, while the Canna smells more earthy. FWIW.

Enough of that. Here's what I'm doing.

In a 3 gal. pot, I place some landscape fabric in the bottom.

This helps keep the hydrotron in. Which is the next step.

Then I add about an inch of coco, and set a keg cup in the bottom.

Once I have the cup centered, I fill in the surrounding area with coco.

I watered each pot with 1/2 gal water and let sit overnight.
In the morning, I removed the cup and was left with a nice little hole exactly the size of my rooted clones in cups. I just add some Great White...

I remove my rooted clone from it's keg cup, and drop it in the hole.

Viola!

Stacked them inside the tent...

Now I just wait 9.5 weeks. LOL.

Here's what this strain looks like currently @ week 5, in another tent.

I will do my best to update this every week.

Thanks for looking.

Hey Qleaner,

Thanks for the kind words.

This cut has already been pheno'd. It is the lemon-fuel-skunk-funk that is common with this.

This will be the third run I have done with this strain/pheno. Still learning about how to maximize it's potential.

I like to let them bush out a bit. I'll trim in week 3.

Thanks greenthumbdanny and Medical Mike.

Medical Mike - I stole the idea from someone else. Glad I can pay it forward.

Update on the Dutchman coco - Yesterday I found a sprout growing in one of my pots. Also noticing more small flying gnats with this. In fact my Canna coco is completely bug free. Unless I start finding one-hundred dollar bills in the rest of my Dutchman, I will probably go back to Canna coco.

funkysmoker - Honestly, I wouldn't be able to tell if it was real OG or not. But I do know that this strain/pheno is one of the strongest, most satisfying smokes I have ever smoked. Thanks for stopping by.

sanvanalona - Thanks bro! I'm glad you stopped by. If you check the coco level in my pots, they are well below the rim. I remember you telling me that less coco is needed. Since you had one of the best coco set-ups in your show, I followed suit and cut my coco by half. Thanks.
I hope this finds you well.

Thanks Gator,

Temps are at 75 F, and RH is about 45%. This run I have been messing with topping and seem to have a good plan with getting an even canopy. Scrogging is definitely in my future if I continue to run this current set-up.
Monday is the beginning of week 4. Is that too late to start scrog? I would probably use net trellice and attach to each corner.
Any advice is always appreciated.

if they arent flowering its not too late. I didnt like the netting its better for giant trees. for a small scrog use gardening trellis from lowes. its like 20 or 30 bucks for 10x more than u need. you could probly cut a piece and then return the rest for youre $ back. and keep the screen really low on a grow like this

I appreciate the advice Gator.

Update - I am running 10 ml per gal Canna A & B, 1 ml per gal Roots, 2 ml per gal CalMg, and 5 ml per gal Liquid KoolBloom. This puts my PH around 6.5 -7.0. I add 2 ml per gal of Silica to drop PH to 5.5 to 6.0. I also stopped the feed, feed, water(flush) schedule, and replaced the water flush with 1 tsp molasses per gal water.

Plants are hand watered once a day with 8 fl oz of solution.

Starting week 5 (day 57)

This batch didn't stretch as hard as my last run. This group was transplanted into pots the day they were dropped to 12/12. My last group was let to veg. for 2 weeks after I up-potted, and are much taller than the ones above.

This week will feed Canna A & B, and Liquid Kool Bloom. Still adding molasses between waterings.

Week Six ( day 38 )

I was rolling when I saw my above post of day 57. I may have been high when I posted that.

Here's some root porn from some Tahoe I just harvested. All Canna coco w/about 2" hydrotron in the bottom. I didn't use landscape fabric in this batch because of the drain hole size of the pots.

I just give it a shake, and the hydrotron falls out pretty easily.

This batch of Tahoe was vegged for 2 weeks under a 1000w MH, as opposed to the current batch with no veg time after up-potting, and under a 600w.

Thanks for looking.
