Im a noob when it comes to photography. I need lessons too.
I have a manfrotto tripod, ballhead, quick release, macro slider and remote shutter controler. I set the f stop to like f-18 or higher.....
Use a nice macro lense, I have a Canon L series 100mm macro, well worth the money.
You also need a flash, this is my last purchase. You need a ringflash for macro work or the speedlight with attatchments for bouncing the light. Controling the light is such an important factor. Brings things into focus and effects the whole look of the picture.
I wish I understood how to edit better in RAW!
