Thanks guys! I am very happy everything so far but I also know that this last half is where it counts! I'm confident if I keep doing what I'm doing I will pull some fire in the end. I'm all about quality so that's how I'll be judging how well I do as opposed to yield.

Does anybody have any advice on defoliating? I have been cleaning up a lot to keep light penetration but I'm wondering if I should be removing more? Or less?

From what I've seen of @justiceman and @MIMedGrower they don't really defoliate and smash it. Then you got @rmoltis that did and he also smashed it. I'm still on my first run so I can't say.

Yea like @incogneato said both ways have proven results just about what you feel comfortable with..I think you just gotta be careful to not take to much if your gonna do it

Agreed. I've felt good about the amount I've been taking, plucking a few old fan leaves every couple of days do keep the air and light flow.

On another note I'm spending tomorrow dummy proofing the grow for the 4 days I'll be gone for the honeymoon. Lol. I trust the guy but you never know. Can't expect too much out of him. As long as it is SHUT between 6 am and 6 pm and he gives them their food that I'll mix up for him everything should be fine.

Your plants and space look wonderful! Defoliation is just a tool to be used when appropriate not a clear debate. Every room and grow are different. We find techniques and styles that work for us and our plants and rooms.

Keep doing what you are doing. The only thing that matters is results that please you and you are killing it.

I defol right at week 1 flower, pretty good... by week 3 its twice as thick, and now i got zillions of bud sites... I will lollipop this week end which is end of week 3... But i like what medgrower said, he pretty much hit the nail on the head... Im running real close to vpd, so they grow super quick, and i make sure i got real good air flow, and i worry more about even canopy and lights being far enough away... every grow is its own micro world,,, esp us with rooms....

Thanks bro! Ya I did a little more defoliation on one of the girls just to kind of compare. Quick question bro since I look to your Coco grows, do you think these girls are liking the 3 gal pots? I know they are healthy and happy but I'm wondering if potting up would have helped them any. I feed every other day and by that time they are definitely ready to drink. Just curious what you think.

I think 2-3gal pots for coco are about perfect unless you are trying to grow a monster tree so I don't really think more would have made much of a difference. Coco goes a long way. Even in a solo cups worth they can get pretty big. That's why I like it so much because I can use a bit less medium than I would if I used soil. I'm not sure what I yielded yet on my latest run, but I ran them in 2gals and it went well.
