Hey guys. So I have a question for ya's and hopefully I can articulate it correctly. I am running Advanced Nutrients basically on their recommended schedule (although over the past few days I decided I'm going to lower it a little as I'm seeing slight nute burn for the first time but keep all ratios the same. Also may need to run a little extra diluted through to make sure it's not a build up causing the nute burn)
Annnnyway, since this is a bag seed i don't know the flower time. According to the schedule 3 weeks prior to harvest i cut out the Big Bud and give Overdrive along with the same others for 2 weeks. Then Flush for harvest. I can elk this is going to be a really long flower as I am at 5 weeks today and they are just now starting to put some size on. Which is fine. I'm thinking probably still have 6 weeks left?? What do you guys think? I'm just trying to get an idea so I can keep to the schedule as I have been happy so far. Thanks. Sorry so long

Hey guys. So I got a dehuey hooked up in there along with the 12,000 btu ac. It's now keeping rh at 35% 68-72 degrees. Surface temps of the tops between 64-69 degrees. I love having the ac unit in there. Ok keeps a very fresh feeling and she seems to be loving life since it's been dialed in.

The next and final thing to do before next run is build a top feed dtw system. I've been reading a lot and trying to find the most reliable/economical/and practical way of doing it. Any advice guys?

I also need to install a can fan in the section of the groom I will close of for veg/mom room as there will be no exhaust if I seal the area as it is.

My plan is to close off the back area under the "shelf" and use it for veg and a select mom once I find her. I will take clones from her along with other beans and cuts I get and veg them in same area. Top section will be for cloning/rooting.

What do you guys think? Any suggestions?
Some pages back are good pics of the whole groom layout when it was first built. Any advice or ideas?
I still need to put a top feed dtw system up in place as well. It's fairly simple though I've just been lazy. All you need is a timer, submersible pump, reservoir, 1/2" tubing(with T barb(s) as a manifold, and 1/4" tubing(with T barbs) for the feed lines. The hardest part is dialing in your drip system times. How often you want them to be fed a day and how much. Those are things one hast o play around with according to their environment and medium.

Ya if you are seeing some minor tip burn then just back off on the strength a little bit. I wouldn't try to change anything too much though as long as the burn isn't heavy. Making sure they get fully saturated or have a bit of extra run off will help prevent nutrient build up.

Since you don't know the recommended finishing time of your strain I would say it will be on the longer side of flowering. Longer is always better than too short so shooting for 11 weeks sounds pretty solid to me. At the very least it won't be harvested too early that way.

Thanks for the advice bro! Ya I will watch the burn and that is what I was thinking is j didn't want to change change things up now. Especially using this pH perfect I believe changing the ratios or even diluting too much can screw with the buffers and might cause some pH issues. In the flowering time I am basing that of everything I found on GSC shows 9-10 week flower which probably means a Lil longer. Also the first 2 weeks were pretty slow. I believe because I didn't do a 24-36 hr dark to start. All that being said I am sure it will go past 10 weeks. Probably more. Lol. I'm glad I'm not completely off base. I'm definitely learning every day

I like extra runoff. I figure its out with the old (which now may not be in the proper ratios because of the plant using the nutes unevenly) and in with the new. I always shoot for at least 30% runoff.

Ya I agree. I usually have more than 20%. Mostly because of how much I mix up and I just figured it was good for them. There shouldn't be a build up now that I think about it because I've never actually watered without a good amount of run off.

Solid man! You have definitely been paying attention no doubt about it.

Yup I'm in the same school of thought. Runoff=Safety in my opinion.

I will say that sometime in the future I would like to dabble with zero or minimal runoff to save water/nutrient. I've seen some people do it with success but it seems like things can go wrong if you don't have your feed strength/environment dialed in correctly.

Nice. Ya build up can still occur if there is a huge root mass taking up a lot of space in the medium, and or the feed strength is high enough, but most of the time ample run off will prevent it.

I use canna a + b and it's pretty cheap if you buy it online. (If you're in a legal state) I went in to the hydro store after pricing what I needed online and the price was triple. They wanted 32 bucks a liter in the store when it was 9.99 online. I asked the guy if I was looking at the same liter as online and he said right away I'll give you the online price. I won't mention the name of the store, but I'll bet it's the same at most places.

I know I know I have been posting too many pics lately. Haha. But I had to do a little cleaning and it was perfect opportunity to get a few shots in natural light so you can actually see the color change/vibrancy and the trichome production. Thanks for taking a look and tell me what you think. Went with a 730 ppm instead of 800-815 and made sure to have a really good amount of runoff and will monitor the little nute burn you see in a couple of pics. Don't want to change anything tho just think a little bit of a lighter feed might help. We'll see how she likes it.

Photo bomb. Relaxing smoking a bowl before crashing and up at 4:00 am. Gotta love it! I'm starting to get happy with the structure of these buds. I know GSC is a lower yield but I'm curious to see what she can do. Got that 1000w all to herself since the other 2 sprouted balls everywhere. Positive vibes to yous.

Hahahaha right?? So one time we were having a team BBQ after the game. A bunch of the parents left early to set up at the park across the street and my son had com with my wife so I had my bid and pipe in the car and the parents asked me to shuttle the kids over to the park. I suggested walking would be good for them. Hahahah.

I love those kids though. Coaching little league is one of the most rewarding things to me.

AC unit got everything on point for the hottest day of the year. I was curious how it would be on a really hot day since the sun beats on it all day being a detached shed in my back yard. I'm very pleased. I actually found myself staying in the groom to escape the heat. Hahah

adding ac is one of the best things, since its common for newbies to have to high of temps and experience fox-tailing... congrats!
Ya it was high on my list from the beginning but since it is pretty big and insulated and sitting on concrete slab I hadn't had problems so it got put off. Luckily like 2 weeks ago decided to grab one because now that I've had hot days I'm guessing it would have been rough without it. Everything is a lot "fresher" in there as well with the dehuey and ac running. I love it

The thermo gun is a great tool too as I am definitely more confer with the actual temp of the canopy. It was suggested to me in the beginning and I'm really glad I got one. Not expensive either
