Those look great bro I don't know what you're seeing. Lol. That one does have a little yellowing on the edges but not too bad yet. I have trimmed all big fan leaves especially any that get to be the size of my hand that may give it the appearance of being more clean but is just appearance. I notice nice growth spurts when I get rid of over grown fan leaves. Personally I think when they are huge they may be pulling as much energy as they are supplyingi wish mine looked nice and clean. these afghans im not sure what im gonna do.
just topped.

i should of transplanted sooner. hopefully the one plant will get whatever it looks like its missing on next feeding. they are growing tho, so im just gonna let them ride until there is a reason to trip. but it makes me wonder what causes it.
no salt issues micros takes care of that for me using maxsea at least. however, if i do not keep the soft water conditioner filled with salt, i could have issues, laughs. Those look great bro I don't know what you're seeing. One thing I was wondering is since I know you like to go really dry on your dry cycle do you think the salts in the nutrients are getting dry and when you feed it is getting too much nutrient? Have you checked your run off ppm/ec? Just a thought bro. I run Coco so I don't have the dry cycle like you do but I was just brainstorming
Anyway they look great bro. Keep it up. Those girls are gonna do right by you.
Lol. Ya bro like I said just a random thought I had without looking back thru your thread. I'm curious about those yellow edges. Shouldn't be a light or heat issue because you've been the same lights and conditions right?no salt issues micros takes care of that for me using maxsea at least. however, if i do not keep the soft water conditioner filled with salt, i could have issues, laughs.
What is your ph?? Is it below 6.5?? It could be not taking the magnesium as I understand in soil 6.5 is the lowest for magnesium uptakeLol. its not light or heat.. it a deficiency from being in a solo cup to long.. also the 1993 afghan along with the runt did not take there first feeding well.. but the fat leaf took it like a champ.. and that was half strength baby food. so i have a feeling they just gonna be picky bitches. some have mention cal-mag. but since i just transplanted and its not had a feeding yet iv not really stressed it because its still growing. but it could be simple as a foliar of cal-mag maybe but i dunno. and until the plant looks sick i guess i wont go looking for problems.. seems to work in this game if the plant is growing. you may do more damage trying to fix some off genetic thing from a pheno or some shit im high man. laughsLol. yeah my ph is with in range of where it needs to be for soil. that is until i forget to fill the salt for the soft water conditioner then ill have ph issues. What is your ph?? Is it below 6.5?? It could be not taking the magnesium as I understand in soil 6.5 is the lowest for magnesium uptake
Ya 1000% I wouldn't go changing anything or searching for solutions to problems you're not sure you have. Haha. Just doin some thinking. chris.
Thanks bro. Ya she was definitely everything I hoped for. I only had 4 seeds of her and 3 Hermed on me. Lol. And I had no cuts of the one that didn't herm. Only from 2 of the 3 jenners. Live and learn.Nice work on the gsc....absolutely amazing bro.....bravo!!!!
Looks like a shed.A few more pics
That it is. Lol. Well it was a shed.Looks like a shed.
Since that post I have added AC and insulated it. It's 10x12 I ran 1 1000w last run and I have a second 1000w dimmable k will be adding as these get bigger. Also have a diy T5/cfl for seedlings and clones/small vegging. With in the next run or 2 I will be doing a 18 plant perpetual and keep 6 vegging and 12 in flower on staggered times. That it is. Lol. How are the temps kept in check? You have a window unit built into the side of the shed? Lol...Since that post I have added AC and insulated it. It's a 12000 btu standing unit but I have the intake and exhaust for it hooked up to holes cut in the outside. It's also insulated. (Except a small portion of the wall I have to finish). Also it's only a "shed" because it's in my back yard. I built it. Tin stud frame 10x12 with 2 ft shelves on back so 10x10 of open Grow space. It's got cut outs for exhaust and it's completely light proof. Soon it will be sheet rocked and then yes I plan on hooking up a window unit or a mini split if it becomes practical. For know the temps stay exactly where I want them. It was 95 today and my "shed" stayed a cool 72 degrees. LolHow are the temps kept in check? You have a window unit built into the side of the shed? You should start selling kits or start a business setting them up for peopleIt's a 12000 btu standing unit but I have the intake and exhaust for it hooked up to holes cut in the outside. Lol. Its easy if you have space. The most pain in the ass part is leveling out the ground. I just poured a slab so it's sitting on a 6 inch concrete slab so it's level and when it rains no water comes under the door. After that their is a million shed designs online. Very simple. Tin stud frame not wood and fire resistant composite material and fire proof insulation makes it a lot safer with all that electrical in there. Nothing to burn if something goes wrong. You should start selling kits or start a business setting them up for people
That's pretty cool. There all nice and uniform. Looking goodWhat up guys. Not much to report, but I guess no news is good news. Lol. I'm actually really happy because (I think) I'm done with my topping and it should be just some LST and canopy management now. I topped them all pretty early for each topping because I wanted to do all the high stress as early as possible and give them the rest of their veg to grow with very little stress.
The first couple weeks were filled with making adjustments to the feed (the Jack Herer are definitely light feeders compared to the white widow) and making cuts causing them extra stress. It has been 2 full days since the last topping and today after worked I noticed the vigor starting to return and they just looked happier. It has been a tiring first few weeks for them. Lol
Now I get to sit back and observe. Let them do their thing and thrive.
Time to fine tune. None of these girls will be limping in to the flip. They will cross that line in full stride.
Look like they're growing pretty good to me. What water and cal-mag are you using? I've read that it's good to have runoff with coco. With those 5 gallon pots and little plants that's not really practical. I'm wondering how that will effect the grow. I think it might be better to start with smaller containers and pot up when needed. Have you checked out Justicemans sticky threads? (sticky to his posts)
