@Ecompost I'm a little late but I'm sure you have read the one-straw revolution. He talks a lot about natural food and that the most nutritious way to live is a natural diet. Basically you eat what nature provides at that time. He talks about fruits and vegetables unnaturally grown out of season provide no nutrition and the fruit is not ripe. It is injected with sucrose, also as you mentioned hormones that force coloring are uses, and then they wax everything.

It's become more about eye appeal. If it looks bright orange it must taste good. If you've ever had naturally grown apples from the orchard or oranges from the grove it's a different kind of sweet. When I was a kid I hated orange juice except when I would visit my grandparents in Florida. The juice is crazy sweet. It's a natural sweetness.

Why is juice like this not marketed widely...the shelf life is a week.
every year we make 50,000L of whole orange orangeade, we make this, by hand, without power bused in from unsustainable avenues, with our own Bio organically grown oranges here deepest Spain and our own Raw cane sugar, both naturally ripened in the sun as any such organic material was designed and so should be. We also make lemonade this way, and a series of infusions from bio organically grown herbs with known positive health benefits.
it sells locally, and sells fast.
People know when they are eating resonant foods. Sadly in many parts of the world, people have neither the space, nor the time to grow or learn how to grow for themselves and even if they found there way to Ag school, they would, 99 times out of 100, find they had entered one of the worlds most perverted bordellos of learning and so would be adding to the decline of world health through misspent tutor-age.
Housing Estates are just not designed to cater for homgrown anything. years ago you would have gotten an offer of a small plot of land, an allotment, or whatever they call them, this would have negated the tiny backyard of the family home, its self anyway being nothing more than a pity full spread of low rent dirt, or turf, on to the top of the entire sites waste, tossed during its construction, which all too often is carelessly left without recourse by private contractors who dont see any case to protect the public domain they rape commercially, or indeed pay tax to help a medical service to cater for the increasing illness of humanity.

Monsanto start wars for fertile land acquisition, all so they can fuck it up with roundup.

I am not so sure you cant get good food via transportation, but you are correct to suggest not much food would last the travel time unless it was pre picked and sent in to chemical induced dormancy first.

There really is nothing quite like the message of the sun, wrapped up in an orange, picked fresh and eaten warmed by sunlight. Welcome to the party and well said :-)

this is the main reason i have grown to do with nothing,,or just about nothing,,dont know about yall but when i go in a store with cash money ,they act like the shit aint good and forget about getting change,,soon it will be just like the movies,,money will be credits and that how you pay for every thing,,garuntee folk will find a way to steal them too
a little while back i did some shit for a freind, he gave me a Bitcoin and said "hold on to the future grandad". 1. I aint his grandad 2. he is the same age as me 3. he thinks he is alot smarter, 4. at todays value he may well be :-)

The future is flagless currency, these fuckers are about to take us to a nuclear war.....

Yes sir. Im in the states. It wouldn't even make it through corporate perceived quality control before it would go bad. I mentioned perception again. They measure quality by how pretty it looks. No nutritional value is taken 8nto account where a lot of perfectly good food is wasted. The fruit that doesnt meet these standards of being pretty it taken out of the farmers pay...sad. farmers barely make it these days.

I got 47 cents in the bank, they can keep it lmao, I hate banks, fuckin charging me to keep my own money lmfao.
amen to that. I love people that tell me they have so little cash in the bank that the bank must be losing money just to keep it open, you may find they have closed it tho, and anyone with a bank account, is no longer the legal owner of any money in it. They just think they are LOL :-)
Trust is in short supply, money is not, go ask Yellen the ponzi scheme promoting witch. Only one that had any sense was brooksley born and they fucked her good...greenspan the muppet...

that is a true story. I cant sell oranges as oranges, there is no money in that :-)

Have you guys looked into the stuff the nurseries carry.Certified organic compost $32 a cubic yard,it's machined down to a nice consistency. Mixed with perlite & half yard soil it makes a lite quick draining soil.
sounds good, lots of good organic soil is way higher price than that, so good spot :-)

same shit im dealing with ,lack of nitrogen,8 is high too,,most veggies range from 6.5 to 7.5,,potato and sweet potato do best in 5.5,,but bright side of it them squash plants you got love it
increase the fungal mass, lower the pH. You might try acetic acid to help act as a solvent where pH is high ... white wine vinegar works well 8ml/Gallon
