The Orange Creamsicle is going to have a great yield this year.

She's already starting to sugar.

My weird little Banana Ice Cream. Another difference from the other two with these pig tailed hairs. They look like they're tied in knots. I'll get better closeups later with my S6. This phone's camera refuses to focus on close subjects.

That's great. You have a handheld microscope or 30x ot better loupe? Some of these pests are very difficult to see. I'm constantly flipping my leaves and checking them (I am very OCD though). I look like a chimp picking through fur, rofl. It's actually kind of a relief now that I know they're there.

Not 30, need a better one. I’ve seen just a few random aphids which had me worried. I had some bottom leaves that looked like spider mite bites, but since a few neem applications have not seen any further development or bites on new leaves.

Sounds like you've got them handled. I've noticed the edges of the leaves grow clean of freckles and regain that healthy waxy look when the mites were killed. Here's some pics (They had severe mite damage)...

If you have the interest and can afford to do it, a fogger like the one I posted about earlier could be very useful in your greenhouse. Mites migrate from plant to plant so they can be anywhere. Spraying the plants alone will not kill them all. But a fogger in a greenhouse is super effective. You can fog everything while using only a fraction of the pesticide needed to spray the plants with a Hudson sprayer. My cousin's commercial partners used it in their greenhouses because it was cost prohibitive to try and cover so much surface area with a sprayer, if it could be done at all. (I wish I could show you why. Imagine a 50' greenhouse full of 9-10' plants growing 2' apart. So dense you have to crawl under them in a 5' wide isle. It was an insane wall of plants.) The fogging did keep the mites under control. Probably would have gotten rid of them completely if they weren't locally occurring and moved in again once the pesticides wore off.

Pulled the trigger on a pump sprayer, not quite ready for a fogger yet, though that does look very badass!

Yeah, I know, hugh. It's one of those "That'd be cool to have tools". I'm pretty thrifty but I'll spend bank on my garden. I probably won't be able to afford it this year but if mite control is going to be a regular thing then this will be a very handy tool to have on hand. Hopefully it'll pay for itself in a few years in pesticide costs.

The hairs all over this Banana Ice Cream look like they're tied in knots. Trippy.

The 20Mp camera on my Galaxy S6 is 'leaps and bounds' better than my S7. I don't know what they were thinking when they downgraded to a 16Mp with a smaller aperture.

The smoke from fires is like another layer of clouds, even seeding actual clouds.

I've been leaving my truck windows open to keep the cab cooler on these hot days and it looked like it snowed on my seats and dash. Heard the fires aren't that close. The Cali jet stream runs along the Sierras up from Baja. Kicks ash everywhere when it's flowing and there's fires to the South. Drops ash for hundreds of miles.

The slight pause at the flip is over. Between that and the milder temps, growth is off the chain.

Fed the flowers some of the nutes leftover in a bucket. Perked up and blooming like crazy in only a day.

Only took 4 days to get to Cali from MI. Goodbye spider mites and thrips.

I've also seen what look like baby grasshoppers on one of the plants. They wiped out a couple leafs and just left a skeleton. Not sure how I'll deal with those if they become a real problem.

Looks nice. It looks like the stretch and bloom has begun. I'm hitting mine with the BT now. I've seen quite a few cabbage moths around the girls so I'll try to head the cats off at the pass. I've also seen what look like baby grasshoppers on one of the plants. They wiped out a couple leafs and just left a skeleton. Not sure how I'll deal with those if they become a real problem.

You shouldn't have much of a problem with grasshoppers unless they are locusts and swarming. We no longer have locusts swarms in the US to the best of my knowledge.

The morning glories that grow up the side of my garden fence are beautiful. I wish they didn't block the light so much when they take over the fence. Have to cut them down periodically.

The bamboo pole is sticking out of the ground a little over nine feet.

Thanks. I think they're at around 20-25gal each every other day. I haven't been measuring it this year. Just run it till they seem saturated enough.
