Thanks.

I was thinkin that man. Trimming shouldn't be bad this year because I bought the Trim Bowl machine last season. I can't imagine trying to trim 15-20lbs without mechanical help. Maybe when I was younger and healthy it wouldn't have been a problem.

Yeah, every plant except the Idunnoes has fairly dense flower sites. The preflower bracts are beginning to swell. They give me an estimate to the sise of the buds and on five plants none are small. The Idunnoes has just started to flower so it's almost impossible to estimate the sise it's blooms will swell to.

Should I use a 18" 15w T5HO 6700k that came with my nano dome for starting clones or 100w(67w actual) Cree CXB3590 COB? The T5 wasn't strong enough to start seeds this year but it has a lot of good reviews for starting clones. Advantage of the T5, I don't have to set up the tent right away, it fits into the top of the Nano Dome. I would only use the T5 to get their roots started.

I would go with the T5 to get the clones to root first. Those cob's are powerful! In my experience too much light intensity delays rooting substantially. What happened with the seeds? Did they stretch too much or just never pop?

Thank you. You confirmed what I was thinking. They stretched and a couple didn't get past cotys (But I think that couple were just funky seeds). Going to root them into soil because I don't have the extra cash for an aeroponic cloner right now and I want to learn how to do it this way first. Figuring I should switch to the COB as soon as I see growth?

Also these plants are monsters! Anybody doubting a good yield on this grow is sorely mistaken :D

...and they have plenty of flowers already. The thing that can cause a hitch in the yield is if I don't get these nutes right. Tiger Bloom is on the way again and had more postal problems but should be here by Friday. I have Cal/Mag on the way and will probably pick up Big Bloom early Sep.

hmmmmm sounds like you may have gotten some mutant seeds or something. Usually a light like that should be pretty good for the first week or so at least depending on how fast they are moving along. Seeds are so sensitive.

I usually clone in rockwool, but I've seen a nice trick for soil/coco cloning. You get the small 9oz red and clear solo cups and put some drainage holes in them of course. Fill a clear with soil and a cutting, and then you put the clear inside a red to block the light. This way you can periodically check to see if you are getting roots by pulling out the clear from the red cup. Once you see a nice healthy root system and a bit of growth then you can throw them under the COBs either at a lower intensity setting or raised up and see how they respond. Then ramp it up and let them start exploding :smoking:

I don't think you'll have any issues :D They are doing very well on nutrition as is. That soil and guano is doing work not to mention I'm sure they are using what ever is in the ground underneath those smart pots. Seems like your nutrient additions are just mainly just for topping off the tank. Can't wait to see what these look like in a few weeks here.

Wow, what a brilliant idea (the clear inside colored Solo cups). I was planning on using little peat pots that I already have and bummed some soil from my cousin. I'll try to scrape the change together to do that Solo trick if I can.

Yeah, the beans I got I wasn't happy with but that's in the past and I got some great plants from the successful ones. So, in the end, it worked out. Now I'm hopefully going to get them X-bred with my last Royal Nepal. I'm pretty sure I can make it go male, hehe.

My nutes are off still, I think. That little BIC#1 has some severe clawing and BIC#2 & Banana Crack have a small amount. The Idunnoes cleared up almost completely after I added a little nitrogen and upped the potassium even more. Today I finally got my Tiger Bloom so I'm expecting them to jump off real soon-like. I think adding the cal/mag is going to make a big difference, were gonna see those claws disappear and leaves broaden.

Sitting here at the hospital when I want to be in my garden, massive suck. Think it may be my spleen. Had to wait for my nutes so I could feed my girls before I left for the ER. Practically no one here but still waiting 2hrs so far. I'm probably next, yay, 10hrs in the ER next. Haha.

They are looking gorgeous as always. I'm sorry to hear about the ER visit and I hope all goes well for you so you can get back to the garden asap.

Actually, it went really well. My CT was clear. I have a CT with contrast coming up on the 4th. If that's clear I'm great. All things considered, at least lymphoma won't be yet another illness to add to the list. It'll put me back to square one trying to figure out what triggered my body's cascade failure, but at the same time it'll less likely something that'll kill me. Woohoo! Hahaha

I feel good about how the girls were fed today. All the parts were right. 1cup Tiger Bloom 2-8-4, 1cup Krazy Kelp 0-1-17, 2tsp Beastie Blooms 0-50-30, @ 10gal water, ea plant. The only thing is I can't keep up these levels. Have to drop the Tiger and Krazy down to 1/4 cup x2 weekly, and Beastie Bloom can be increased to 5tsp weekly. I'll replace the Krazy Kelp with Big Bloom 0-.5-.7 next month and buy a new container of Beastie Bloomz.

Grow Log 8/30/18 #1 (clone setup)

Dug out my Sun Blaster Nano Dome from the mess of stuff I still haven't unboxed from the move. If all goes as planned I'll take 8 cuttings this morning and start some clones. The 9th peat pot I'm using for the RNK bean. If all the clones survive 4 will become mothers, 4 will go to bloom and the RNK I'll force male to pollinate the first set of 4 clones. I'll run the 200w COB over the 4 tent clones and RNK. The 67w COB will light the 4 mothers that will be my houseplants. Going to try to keep the mothers short so I can winter them in my new toasty warm 5th wheel. It is very possible that I'm going to fail in one or more parts of my plan in a major way, but I have zero chance of success if I don't try.

There are still knarled leaves, curly-Q'd tips, and mottled coloring, but I'm seeing tips straighten and a healthy solid green working it's way up the girls. Just about have the nutes under control on 2/3 of the Banana Ice Cream except the little #1 with the worst curly tips and knarled leaves. It just doesn't want to be fixed. The Cal/Mag should be here today and I want to order some Advanced Nutrients B-52 (B vites) & Ancient Earth (humic fulvic leonardite). I don't know if I can pull off the AN nutes but I'm gonna scrimp and save to try. Still need to buy another $120 in Fox Farm nutes and I don't know how I'm even going to pull that off. I would love to get a big jug of AN Overdrive but that sh*t is off the hook expensive.

Will not be cloning either of these. The Idunnoes is too sparse and lanky. The Creamsicle, though a massive producer, is a spider mite's favorite snack.

Idunnoes, she is doing great now even though she's a late bloomer. Her leaves are all straight and healthy and flowers are beginning to form.

Orange Creamsicle x Chocolate Diesel (Aka Chocolate Creamsicle, Aka Orange Diesel), she is recovering well. A few older cooked leaf edges and yellow leaves but the new growth is beautifully green with a healthy structure. Nitrogen, nitrogen, nitrogen, it does a Creamsicle good. I think she's got the best of both parents with the early bloom and tight tall colas. I will not make the mistake of harvesting her too early this year.

Getting furry! Looking great man. Glad to hear the good report from ER. Blessings

That f^ckin leaftip curl is broad mites. That's why nutes arent doing sh*t. The F^CKIN FEDS are dropping them on the scotch broom around here. (That's what they're saying is the primary reason but everyone knows these mites attack cannabis as well. Our state fought them on raiding our stores and farms so they are just destroying our plants instead.) I'm not black helicopter nutso, and I thought the guy at the hydro store was, until I got home and saw the mites he said I had. I've seen the few hundred foot, super slow flyovers too and never put 2+2 till today.

!!!!!F^CKIN BASTARDS!!!!!

I can't say what the guy at the grow store told me to do. But I can tell you that right after they dropped the mites they came into his store and confiscated almost every effective pesticide from his shelves, including Azamax.

After I bought my things we smoked each other out. Me with some RNK dusted in OC kief, him with some bomb a$$ Lemon Tree (tangie-like, grows local). I want to grow some of that sh*t. I'm gonna talk to him and another guy there about some "things" tomorrow. And see if I can get a cut off that Lemon Tree.

Anyway, he said my plants look great besides the mite damage. That's why it looks so much like nutes. I've been taking such good care of them that the mites haven't been able to kill them, ROFL!!! Now that, was a compliment that made my day. You've been saying basically the same thing too justiceman and I want to tell you that once I understood the situation, all your compliments hit me at once. So you made my day too. I couldn't see through my frustration with myself for not bring able to fix my girls. Thank you, thank you, thank you, dude. (WhtChoc & FarmP, you guys have been so supportive too, and thank you very much)

In less than a week my girls will be 100% YAY!!!

(I knew I knew how to grow better than the results I've been getting. This is such a load off my shoulders.)
