Heck yeah, threw the water cloners out and went back to Domes. Works like 99%... wish I would have stayed with those from the onset.
I can load the trays and clones come out like a beast. :)

Now I am taking really big clones and will see how that works to shorten the cycle. My goals are always to shorten the cycles, while keeping things up. Some of my cuts are a foot long! And it works like a fucking champ.. that is what I have been needing.

Just picked up some Ceramic, low heat LEDS or some shit. They were expensive as hell, but cool to the touch, so I took down a 1000HPS that was off because of heat issues and put up a 315 Ceramic that is supposed to out perform a 600 HPS with only 1.5 AMPS.
My goal here is to add 3 more of them to expand a bit. These 4 lights were $2500 investment....

yeah, does make some good sense. I want them focused on growing bud, not on burning fuel to warm their water & food.
Now.. if I could just get my plants more veg time in less real time. Time loop room??:) dang it. lol.

If i need my plants to veg really fast i,ll veg em in small dwc buckets and transplant em into soil for bloom,net pots an all.you can recover the net pots after harvest.

Iv just started ak 47 strain. Being a sativa I'm thinking of main lining to keep a nice flat canopy. Im Aiming for 8 colas...my others are indica so just think I'm gonna top them ones. Your set up is waaaay larger than mine...Can't wait to see the end of your grow.

Hey bud,

I have tried AK47 a number of times and not had much liking of it... I actually popped 3 new ones recently to see if I have better results. Mine are usually light, whispy ass buds and they can barely support themselves without falling over. I would say plan for supporting them with some bambo and string in a circle or they might be every where. :)

OH, maybe the 8 tops will help it be shorter and stocky instead of so tall. I would prune all that small shit on the bottom so your buds all get focus. YOu also may want to try some at 4 tops and some at 8, and see if you like the 4 better. Remember all plants respond to topping differently. Some are best NOT topped, some love having 16/32 tops if have the time and patience to bonsi them.

The master growers only bend and don't top at all, something I wish I could do but don't have the patience or time in the cycle.



After circling the wagons a while now, I have my strains down to LSD and Blue Tara as my main desired plants with a few OG / GSC from the farm that are babies currently.


A few notes about some of the other strains I have run.

Keepers:

Barney's LSD - Great strong plant, bud quality is dense as a rock, heavy yielder and once cured has a fine cigar flavor that keeps people coming back. I am currently on the hunt for the right pheno here and
once I find it, will be really stoked. Seems to clone easy too and is a fast vegger. 2 tops seems right, it grows about 3 feet and produces over an OZ per plant easily. You could probably cut glass with these buds they are so dense. :) Comes in FEMINIZED SEEDS.

Boghi Blue Tara- This is probably the best bud that has come from the garden. Almost a white covered bud with a sweet blueberry aroma. Still chasing the pheno and trying to narrow down what this strain likes best for topping. If you could find the great pheno and get it cloning from a pack of seeds, you would be set. Only comes in REG seeds. A strain @waayne recommended for low paranoia and you can't go wrong with anything that guy tells you- what a great cat and what a great strain. If I could have gotten a cut of some of the best that came out of the garden.. I would be in hog heaven about now.

BubbleGummer - The few that had smell, were awesome. People loved these. I saved 6 plants back to find a good pheno maybe when time. It was cool because some of them would have NO smell, but the next one would smell like the old 5 cent pink gum! :) Plus the bud was a great hit. Would grow this as a main lineup if I could find a pheno that has the smell. The yeild was solid and the plant was strong. They come in Feminized seeds.


Not quite right for me at this point or taking a break and setting a mom aside for later maybe-

Hazeman Grape 13- Awesome plant, great flavor. Buds are unpredictable as is the plant stability and growth. Also found this fucker cannot survive cloning. Roots great, but half die off when moving to dirt - so this one fails in a commercial or larger setup. Reg Seeds only.

BOG Sour Grape- Strong plant, durable, easy to clone, easy to feed. Hard for me to find a pheno I loved as far as bud smell. I would say smell is the main thing that deters me from running this as my main crop. If it had a stronger/better smell, it would be a sure top 2 / 3 pick. NOTE : Am trying a new pack of BOG LifeStar and hopeful they will be something special. Can't say enough good about BOG and Mrs BOG. Great folks. Reg Seeds only.

Magic Bud- Great final product. Unpredictable in final buds from plant to plant. Mostly thin stalks and lower yielding caused me to swap this one out. They come in Feminized seeds.


All for now, OH, have a nice setup of 18 AFGHAN / KUSH that are ready to flower and just taking some cuts and making room for them. They look great in VEG. Green, healthy, bushy, etc.

PM, MITES & Seeding = fucking bullshit!

AFGHAN KUSH strain has completely FUCKED me anytime I have run it. Must be completely weak genetics.
Lesson learned. I will never pop an AFGHAN Seed again. End of story.

Now, back to basics and trying to clone my LSD and Blue Tara and fuck the rest of these strains.

This is where in-experience (mine) has really hurt me.
More experienced folks would have probably caught most all of these early on.
