Ur backyard dirt should have buffers and microbes growing in it so ph should not be a issue - ppm of you tap could be most want tap around 130-160 ppm but really depends on how much of what it contains

Yeah I never really worry about ph or pull out a pen unless there is something wrong with the plants and I’m trying to diagnose and treat. I believe in the “set the soil up good, leave the plants alone and let them tell you what they want” method hahaha.

Forgot to mention I got my seeds yesterday for my next cycle in a few weeks. Can’t wait to grow and try out the Biscotti Mintz. I’m a big GSC fan. That’s all I grew and smoked. Of course I would smoke anything that was offered to me lol I’m not dumb or rude. Im germinate 1 Biscotti Mintz and a White widow and gonna keep o e of the DoSiDos#33 for my moms. The other seed is an auto im gonna try a grow in my smaller tent that I started a journal for. I’m growing WW because it was the only feminized freebie. So far the seedsman seed bank has been super easy, fast shipping and seeds have been great. Definitely recommend

Alright farmers,
I’ll be gone for another week at my fixer upper so I just got done watering my girls and making sure they will be good for the week. Everything seems to be doing really good. All 3 of my beans popped tonight (2 moms Biscotti Mintz&WhiteWidow and my auto strain Critical +2.0 for my small auto grow I’m doing) I just potted and watered them with roots organic in my baby solo cups. They’ll be in there for about two weeks. Can’t wait to come back and see how all the girls are growing. So far so good. Happy Halloween stoners

Hahaha I just realized the last time I was sleeping in my living room i turn my old rental into a grow house trying to get my foot into the money industry right when Cali turned legal and used all the bedrooms for veg and flower rooms but I was already to late in the game. Now I’m sleeping in my living room of my flipper but this time it makes me a decent living and I’m my own boss and I’ll take that any day. All my sacrifices have paid off. May not look like much but took me a lot to get here sleeping in my living room again

Hope you all had a great and productive week. So came back home and the girls are looking great for day 19. They all have 10 nodes so I topped all of them except 1 DoSiDo #33 as to be a mom. I like to top between 8-12 nodes depending on what week veg they’re in. We’re coming up on week 3 and I’ll be gone this week so I decided to do it now. Next cycle I’m gonna have the time to veg them longer more like 10 weeks so I’ll top around week 5-6. Now they will have 3 weeks to veg out as much as possible before they head to the flower room. I’m working on some mobile scrog set ups for the 4 plants that will go into the flower room with some left over plumbing supplies I have from my current flipper. They will be 1.5’x1.5’ it’ll be adjustable in height as well but I’ll update more about those once they are done. I just watered and added some aloe vera to the water and they seem to be very happy. I ordered a humidifier but will get here while I’m away so I won’t be able to set that up until next weekend. I got the temp good but I’d like the humidity up more when lights are on. Lights off temp/rh is good. I’m gonna get the next cycle of seeds started when I get back next weekend. That’ll be 2x biscotti mintz and 1x white widow all fem/photo’s. My mom seeds and my 1 auto seed sprouted as well and are looking good. That’s about it for now, can’t wait to see some big changes next week. Stay lifted farmers

I can make other tight joints besides my weed ones my current carpentry work vibes with my ride or die k9. So nice to get a text from my wife while I’m away working, telling me she watered my sprouts and raised one of the fans for me bc one of my babies didn’t like it hope everyone is having a great day

Thank you for the kind words Mike. Yeah I try to do my best but this 90yr old house is testing my skills nothing plumb or square is killing me but it’s all part of the gig. Plus it’s really making me hone in my skills. Definitely like the extra side work but I like not having to deal with costumers much more haha

Hey stoners,
So about 2 days shy of 4 weeks now. This week was pretty good, saw some good changes with the bigger plants. They seem to have adjusted to the topping well and are growing longer branches now which is perfect bc they will have 2 more weeks to veg out before the flip. I decided to choose the far right DoSiDo 33 for my upcoming dosido33 x biscotti mintz breeding experiment. I like the way she has grown so far. I know it doesn’t mean much bc I’m not gonna see her through the whole flower stage but it’s just my little experiment I wanna do so I’m not gonna go all crazy with it. I can’t wait to see how F1 seeds do and see if I need to go to F2-F4. If they are pretty stable I’ll be crossing with a runtzmints I’ll be reversing in a few months.

Super excited I was able to open my Spider Farmer G300W and get it all set up in my veg tent but just for bigger plants to get a bit bigger. I’ll be moving it back into my flower room once I flip these girls and put back my blurple light back in the veg tent until I can get another Spider Farmer light. Thanks again for such a great light for a decent price @SpiderFarmerLED cant wait to get another one. This light is going to make a huge difference. I really like how it was packaged, super organized, lots of foam protection, even in between the light bars. Not a single thing was broken, and the manual made assembly and install super quick, took me just under 20min. This light is super professionally made, with high quality materials and parts, they definitely dont cut corners and built to last. Thanks again!

So much better to see the plants with this light. I have it set to 20% and my Photone app is reading 15DLI so I think that’s good for this stage based of this chart I found. I’ll turn it up more next and slowly ramp it up until the flip. Besides that they just got watered added some DE on top of the soil bc I killed a couple soil gnats. I’ll post another update next weekend when I get back home. Hope you all had a good weekend

My last two Biscotti Mintz beans popped tonight so I just sowed them in some fresh original roots organic soil and water with tap water, the 4 in the clear solo cups are my next cycle so they will be much bigger. So glad they are started and gonna be a decent size when I flip. My reversal Biscotti Mintz had plenty of roots so I up potted and watered so I can get her ready for my breeding experiment in a few weeks. They are not gonna be big plants but big enough to do a reversal and cross with my dosido. Excited to get that started and will be making a separate journal when I do. The plants all ready have a bit of a skunk smell to them, I love walking into the closet a smelly that smell. Can’t wait to be able to smoke, I’m doing this dry so it’s gonna be a long first cycle

Hope you all had a great thanksgiving. It’s been a minute since I did an update. I really only like doing a weekly update max. Anything more is just to much to write and read haha. So it’s just a few days past 5 weeks of veg. Plants are starting to fill out nicely, and are doing super good. I just topped them for the second and last time and also transplanted them into there new 5gal bucket mobile scrog containers and get them set up in the flowering closet. I’m gonna let them veg in there for the next 7-10 days so they can be fully recovered and ready for the flip. I also gave them a nice veg tea packed full of goodies. Gave the white widow a trim, they were getting bushy, I also trimmed up the dosido 33 but not as heavy. I really like these scrogs, they are mobile and adjustable in height, I used all the left over plumbing materials and drywall mud buckets I’ve accumulated. I might make some few adjustments but we’ll see after the stretch in a few weeks. The detachable driver on the spider farmer G3000 saved the day, I would of had to go to Home Depot and buy another extension cord if it wasn’t detachable. Such an awesome light @SpiderFarmerLED cant wait to get another! I guess that’s about it, should see some explosion in growth within the next few weeks. Stay lifted y’all

Haha close. I’m in NC, it’s dirts from the swamp/woods in my backyard. Just years of leafs, twigs, rain flooding and bring in a great ecosystem and breaking it all down.

If it's working for you then good on you but I would look to do a highly amended soil if you're going organic. Worm Castings, Kelp Meal, Fish Meal, Lime, Blood Meal, etc.

Took the inner walls down to stud and rewired and replumbed the house and hung drywall to close it all up and repainted the entire interior. Floated a vinyl plank floor and finished it off with baseboard. Your joints look nice and tight. Nice Miter Saw too! Could've really used one of those and a table saw but I only had basic tools like a circular saw and a multi tool. Next time I'm going to rent a guillotine when I lay vinyl plank. Would've saved a day of up and down to cut pieces along with my back!!!

Yeah this run I was going on the cheap side but next run i am definitely gonna be buying roots organic soil, Ive used them in the past and have had good outcomes and down to earth fertilizers, will be my first time with them but heard great things. I’m only gonna be making teas, no top feed or sprays. I’m gonna start a new journal for my second run tomorrow with what I’m gonna be using and the strains.

Yeah this 90 yrold house needed a complete rehab it’s taken me 4 months ti do but I’m just about finished and can’t wait to get a nice pay day so I can buy a new truck haha. Thanks man, I love my tools, makes everything so much easier. Im a big Milwaukee fan but I’m sure any brand will get the job done. Yeah I use a knife to score and snap my vinyl/laminate flooring so I’m not running around. My knees are shitty even tho I’m not running to my saw they still are killing me after awhile.

Removing the cable hanger and just using 4 ratchet ropes will get you a couple inches
