3 week in and so far aside from a flood that started in my veg room (that I pray didn't go into my neighbor unit) everything is going smoothly.

I'd post an updated pic but I just realized that my phone is dead as I am from tearing out pond liners and drying the place up. Gotta go in and make sure no one else a affected also... f***

3 weeks in....

I’ve gotten too lax over the last few weeks made a promise to myself to check up on them more often. It’s such a challenge with a new baby in the house and a full time job.

The very first pic shows a calcium knuckle building up and the rest well... are self explanatory:)

A little haircut on the bed of Pure (before and after pic included)

I like how short she stacks, makes managing the canopy such an easy task

I decided to add some girls to the beds I had idle in the room I was vegging in so I guess that means I need space to veg in again.

The (very) small plants are LOA and the bed in the back is filled with Crockett’s Guava Dog (P3) P1 was a male and P2 didn’t show much gumption in my test run. I take that back... I did put in (6) P2’s of Guava in there just for verification but it’s mostly P3’s.

I‘Ve been running cuts for well over a year so Guava is my first run from seed in a long time and I’m pretty stoked about it.

All of DNA’s Heritage has germinated and are on its 2-3rd set of leaves but for some reason Johnny Chimpo and Cherry Poppins Just won’t germinate! And I’ve tried twice!!!

I also have some pretty cool crosses and landrace strains I picked up and popped and I’ve got to say from all the beans of popped in the last month the ones to seem to have the highest failure rate are the ones from DNA genetics/Crockett family farms....

I dropped a wad of cash on the entire heritage line and I’ve been a fan ever since Tangie but this is highly disappointing. Makes me think they are rushing to get product out and quality is suffering.

I’m not just saying that because 2 of the 30+ strains I’ve recently popped that didn’t germinate happen to be theirs. I’ve also noticed that it takes twice as long for DNA/Crockett seeds to germinate and the structure of the seed itself compared to every other seed I have, (EVEN FREEBIES) are bland and immature looking. Needless to say I probably won’t be jumping on their summer realease as originally planned.

Checked on the Johnny Chimpo and Cherry Poppins seeds I have been trying to get to germinate and it looks like we have a nice tap root to drop into a RSC with Chimpo.

Poppins on the other hand is still being stubborn....

I’m trying not to think negatively regarding my DNA/Crockett Heritage line seed purchase but I’ve had nothing but problems with these beans :(

Fed everything today. Moved all the plants in veg including clones, newly sprouted seeds and moms to a tent where the 3rd room will be built. Cleaned, sanitized and flipped the first room with the LOA and Guava. I have an unusually high number of plants in the LOA bed because I really didn’t want to veg and have to wait any longer. (The quicker I can take my mind off this room the quicker I can start phase 3).

Now that it’s nice and late and the house is quiet, I can finally see what kinda life is swimming around in the AACT I brewed and what happens to the microbial life when I dilute it into my main tank that has premixed nutes. I took a 3ml of sample of the AACT and another sample once I mixed it into my main tank.

Update.

Room 1 (Guava and LOA - first 2 pictures below) both were fed a total of 400ppm of botanicare grow and a little cal/mag.

LOA as young as they were going in they have acclimated quite nicely but nothing much to say here aside from losing 1 out of however many are there.

Guava on the other hand started showing signs of what I thought was a sulfur deficency which is something I have never come across. Foilar fed half the bed and saw some improvement so I did the same to the rest and they seem to be ok.

Fed everything some botanicare grow (3rd & 4th pic). Up potted some of of the babies in veg. Made some space by getting rid of all but 1 Ghost (still can’t figure out what’s the deal with that effing leaf curl {5th pic} Again something I have never come across so I’ve gotta figure this out or it’s going to consume me)

Checked on room 2 and fed them a booster (the last 3 pics - Colombian, Pure & GG4) and called it a night.

Keep it lit!

Well guess who finally decided to show up to the party, sure she’s a little late and I went through half the beans of this particular strain before one properly germinated but finally got my prom night promise

Took a look at the underside of some of my leaves today with my new scope, in both rooms as well as the tent I’m vegging in. That russet/broad mite infestation I had a bit ago has me on edge so checking often is a habit I can’t shake especially this close to term. Below is a pic of Pure OG at 6 weeks. I’m not going to yield very well with her but the smell she is giving off has got my senses overwhelmed.

Closeups of Pure OG's trichs and various seeds using my new $17 scope.
Plugs right into your laptop and can zoom (albeit not very well) up to x1000

Potted up the entire heritage line today expect Johnny Chimpo and Cherry Poppins fed and watered all the rooms by hand which was a very time consuming ordeal since every bed had its own unique needs.

I miss the days where I can just turn on a pump and viola! I need to start looking into the different ways of automating that part of my life lol

Took a look at the clone king today and almost all of the cuts I took/posted on the 15th have shriveled up and withered. 1 of 3 things could have happened...

1) Taking the cloner out of the only room thats air conditioned cause the water temps to rise. (It was 78 degree's when I decided to check the temp)

2) I didn't sanitize the cloner well enough (not likely as it's new and only on it's second run)

3. I mixed and sprayed OGBIOWAR foliar and forgot to dilute it (What I believe is the culprit)

So I took home a smaller cloner and sanitized the heck out of it. Added a bunch of Crockett Dog, a CBD strain (Male) and a couple Fire OG cuts.
