Not even sure if anyone watches this anymore. It's all good. Go if you must, stay if you will is my motto.

I will say to any who is watching, while I believe the intentions of others were from a completely loving place (I know they were), let this be a lesson in why it's not smart to go after thousands of viewers/followers all at one time to achieve one goal. That's being shortsighted. You will always have to hustle to keep the momentum up and life is too short to shoot for short term, immediate gratification. What do you do when it's over? (rhetorical question here)

I am thankful to have won a light and to have met others along my journey.

Even though I defoliated, and I was feeling some kind of uneasy about it, it seems like the girls are very happy today. Perhaps my Reiki is getting stronger? These are this morning's images.

Y'all stay healthy and safe!

Different ways of what? Eating? 🤩 Are you saying I scared them away? It's all good. I should never have to drag you into my lane, you know? I've learned through my journey, the ones who are meant to stay will and I'll learn my lessons as needed along the way.

Hope all is well where you are and all are healthy. I started lemon seeds today and for some reason, I am super excited about it.

Anything lemon is great. I'm 1 of those people that will just eat a lemon. Love sour stuff. Even weed 😋

What did I miss? What's this tea?
Find some organic hibiscus flower. It has to be hibiscus sabdariffa flowers. Can be dried or fresh, no matter. It extracts best in water. Put some in a cup, cover with boiling water, cover the cup with saran wrap or whatever for 20 minutes (the wrap will turn in, don't freak out). Strain it, drink it.

Personally, I put it with ginger, tulsi, and schisandra (which can be used as pink peppercorns; think 5 spice flavor here), infuse it, then put it in a jug, add water and I'm good for the day. If you use tulsi, be prepared, it's an aura cleaner so if you have some recent unfinished business you didn't take care of (mentally, emotionally, spiritually, etc), it will catch up with you to finish it real quick. I half heard that when I first learned about it. It was quite the surprise to me.

Can I put it over ice? Cant stand warm or unsweetened tea lol

You totally can. I put it in my husband's drinks all the time. It's the only way I can sneak him extra vitamin C. I try to make a tea infusion every morning so I can treat myself like a child and load mine up like this, with frozen fruit instead of ice. Make the infusion, you can make whatever you want with it. I infused my flowers in the sun, made a botanical essence, mixed half with grape grain, now I have a Mother essence. How's that for abundance? 🤩

You might want to consider some additional defoliation. I was taught and this comes from one of the old school grow books to remove all growth on the bottom third of the plant and to count down about 5 nodes and remove all buds below that point. Prior to doing this I would end up with many small micro buds. The term you will hear it called is lollipopping.

I'm listening. 😊 What would be the purpose?

Well that is a good question.
Removing the bottom 1/3 of the plants leaves and buds is designed to allow air flow at the soil level. This helps remove humidity from that region. Which is the regions where a lot of diseases and bugs like to flourish. Removing the bud sites in the middle of the plant will allow the remaining bud site to grow larger. One thing you may not have experienced yet is trimming. Trimming several hundred buds the size of a dime or smaller is a pain in the back side.

This is all absolutely correct, I'm going to be defoliating & trimming mine tonight. I'd listen to this advice, k, it will save you headaches

I understand from the human perspective why. It's just like me to want to re-direct a plant natural inclination based on my own limitations and needs. 😊

If I were to leave my plant in the wild, would it thrive on it's own without my coming through and cutting it down to get more air?

This is what it's like being in my brain. Thank you for your patience while I work it through by verbalization. I totally get the need for appropriate air exchange, it's why I did defoliate some, then I included a fan to blow through the lower regions to make sure of the appropriate air exchange, especially since humidity does like to hang out down there. I have seen new sites since doing so (check back like three days ago, I think). My concern with my defoliating is that I would then be redirecting hormones to go to the site of the cuts.

As a female, when I'm experiencing menstruation, I'm more susceptible to pain. Like, I'm a tough old bird, but put me on my period and then let me break a limb or even cut myself. Pain is exacerbated at least ten times worse. Where do our natural pain mechanisms kick in from? Our adrenals start it, which tells me that pain and repair of injuries is hormone based. I'm already dealing with activated hormones simply because my body is "flowering." See where I'm going with this?

So, the question is, is it better for me to have more sites of bud or to have quality bud? I'll have to ponder this.

Oh and one more thing, if you go thru with defoliating the plant. I can remember the first time I did it and I looked at the plant and said to myself what have I done. I destroyed the plant. It is just not the case, you have to get past it, which will happen in time.

It is your decision. I can only tell you from experience that you have yet to experience, the trimming of these little dime or smaller buds is not something to par take in. Secondly, the lowers buds will not be desirable because they will have little mass to them. They will look full and chunky, but once you dry and try to trim there is just nothing there. Most all people defoliate the plant in my neck of the woods. Also the new bud sites you saw after your first defoliate can be attributed to a couple of things. The site was already active but was not getting enough light or it was already growing and it was just really small.

I'm having same issue right now, dear. Your girls & you will appreciate defoliating. They are not outside in natural environment, I know your "natural state" person (I am too) but inside different, they need different treatment to be as happy inside as outside.
