Yes, that's right. I mixed some up, thankfully, earlier this morning, so it was ready just now. I remembered your tip about feeding a little less with this mornings mix. Hopefully, I caught them in time to recover. Here's a couple of pictures I took of the affected one and surrounding area.

I appreciate you. I knew one of y'all had this strain and I was hoping you would answer. It is the SSSD. Glad to know they like to show off their stress, makes it a little easier.

@oldskol4evr Thanks for the heads up. I guess now I'll wait about 2/3 hours. Do you think I should feed again, since like @dire wolf said, nutrient deficiency?

what i use to do becuase it would confuse me especialy if i smoked,how ever much i was feeding my plants,been a min,let me think back,if im correct in 1 gal pots i was feeding 2 solo cups each feeding and had good runoff,so by te end and havrvest i was feeding them 3 times a day,i had i figured,sure dont now hahahah.
but what i did and with 15 palnts all together in 1 gal pots 3 times a day,i would make all my nutrients first thing in morning ,then i feed and set the rest back in a corner until next feed,by doing this if i had a problem i knew it was from something i did and could fix,all plants would have same issue,because of same feed if you dig what i mean.
so were are you at ,with feeding ppm and ph and how many times a day?
all this listed is why i said i use the 1 gal pots,i could feed more and exchange more giving bokoo of growth hahaha in a 3 gal your guessing pretty much,in 1 gal you already know it hungry and most times the top would give a dry look by the time you feed again,more work yes,but force feeding them is whats up in coco,the whole idea is product and fast

every time,run your water put your cal mag in first,like 1 ml check your ppm,you want 250 ppm with water and cal mag,then when done put your nutrients in the water,same thing check your ppm ,using that chart i got you,go by those numbers,once you have your ppm right check your ph and adjust,easy just need to get in habit

That's a solid plan. Thank you. I will be sure to set my schedules appropriately now. I will never know why the simplest of things are so hard for me. As of now, I am making more feed for second feeding of the day. From that moment on, I will borrow your regimen because it appears that I will have to train myself like a child. Your plan makes absolute sense in that it's easier to figure out where something went wrong and/or replicate.

I'll feed them again and get back to you with the numbers. :) It'll be about half an hourish. Thank you!

Listen to oldskol , i cant offer better advice , i can tell you that there is a difference between you and 80 % of the people i see on this site , you are listening to your plants and making an emotional connection with them , and thats why you will be a better grower than most.....

Sometimes my plants give off a heavy aroma when im near them , its unique and only happens in certain circumstances , i swear they are talking to me..

do what comfortable for you girl,i just did it like this ,because id smoke a bit,go in there freaking stoned ,think to myself ,well used this much yesterday and this morning and blow off checking stuff,then wake the following morning to very unhappy room if you dig,even in the city my damn water would change daily,i got were i kept a 33 gal thrash can on back porch full of bubbling water,never turned them off,go out a get what i was gonna need and dilute it with ro water to save money,bubbling also raise the ph of your water threw the air,so after last feed for the night,i got my water in 5 gal bucket ,let it sit in house all night,following morning ,i mixed the water ,then the days feed,worked out really well,only the one time i had issues and that was when i mixed every feed and stoned ,damn stoners cant depend on them for shit haahah.

I thought the same thing today, about the scent. I also feel like they are waving or something. If I go in right at lights on, no vibe. If I give it about half an hour, it's like they have come alive. So, apparently, they aren't morning plants. Haha! So glad you pointed that out.

Hahahaha! That's the other reason why I'm following your lead. What smoke I have now is a one hit wonder so I'll get side tracked by all the shiny things.

Plus, I'm brewing vinegars, teas, etc. for my consumption. Just made a Fire Cider, has all the good heart stuff in it. He actually likes it. I put dried cannabis leaves in after three hours of heating, then bottled it. It's pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. If anyone would like some, I'll be happy to share. Next, I'm onto mead, which I'm really excited about, though I probably won't be able to drink it.

So, as you can see, I need a set schedule. Hahaha!

@oldskol4evr No ppm reading. I don't know where the damn thing is. I guess I'm running on full intuition now. Ha! The Universe has jokes today, as do I, as lame as they are.

Ingoing water pH this time was 7.2, but I believe it's only been sitting out since last night. I've remedied that by building a bigger water supply and I will keep it going as I take out.

Outgoing pH was 6.8.

@dire wolf, other stalks turned red, too, after first reading. As if to say, give me more. Ha! Are yours normally two a day or three?

Does anyone use any of the outflow water for anything? I'm just curious because it doesn't seem very friendly to the Earth to just throw it out.

Also, Does anyone have a hibiscus (specifically Hibiscus saffarida aka Roselle) they'd like to share? I'd like to try my hand in a greenhouse at it. Also, heirloom roses would be awesome.

Just fed them again, half as much, before lights out. They are growing up. Soil was dry and I was surprised. My bad. I didn't realize they were hitting the teenage years where they eat 24/7. Pretty sure I have a male SSSD. What happens if I leave him alone to be the boss? He smells musky when I get next to him and my Blue likes to give me carnation scents. Maybe I'm crazy, but I'm good with it.

They also made me understand their science a little more. The yellowing, as you pointed out, @oldskol4evr, was because they were hungry. When we humans literally start starving, our brains give an order to retain all nutrients closest to our core. It's why you will see people jaundice (affects the liver first). I won't bore you anymore with my geekdom.

Its good that you feed them , you will see results quickly , why do you think the sssd is a boy ☹

If you leave him to be the boss , he will reproduce with all your female plants and you will have a nice crop of great seed genetics , most people have a preconcieved notion of how they want to run their garden
Either buds or seeds....

Seedmaking is a specific goal
Female flower making , flowers that contain more of the sought after thc are another specific goal...

Do you want good quantity of smokeable bud , or do you want poor bud with thousands of seeds , usually used for food ? Or for growing many more plants , perhaps to sell or give to friends as gifts.....if you want seed then you can collect pollen in a much smaller quantity and just impregnate a few isolated buds of the other females.....

Common thought for a first time grower is to kill the male
If you identifiey it as a male , you can clone it and keep it aside for a future project, hope im being clear , im half asleep........

I also don't want to kill the male. He deserves to live, too. :) I'd like to, ultimately, create my own plant based on certain aspects. How does that tie into planning? I wasn't sure I'd get this far, if that makes sense? I'm not into making a million dollars, I simply want to make medicine. I chose reg seeds of SSSD for a reason, I would like a clone of my Blue, since she's the only one I have. Peyote Critical, I've never smoked so I'm not committed, but they are fem seeds.

Hey kim, we keep wierd hours , sorry , i think i can write a more focused post while im perfectly awake instead of half asleep......

Yes you make good sense , if you want to get a little breeding plan going and keep your traditional bud growing , i can help you do that.......

And of course everyone else can offer their method , i make seeds , and then htbrid crosses all the time......

Also yyour plants are now develpoing , with enough side branching to pull clones.
You will need a rapid rooter tray and plastic inseryd , you will need a small surgical sharp scissor , new razocr blases , a bag of 50 rooters is nice to have , a small cloxed gel bottke or cheaoer cloning powdwer,

I usuall knock a hundred whine hhawaii 59 on tv......
They will liveoff the indirect lihght of your growroom , having a clip on from home depot will works , as there needs for lights are minimal,

When they shhot roots, they aready to go into a well drainage dixi scup


Ill get to the nutes latter, bydoing this you can put your hold off for a while , so he dosent shoot out pollen before you are rea ready , bu keeping him away from 1 12 / 12 hour light, you cakk the shotss

The only realistic route is to put him in a prive room ,tent , sealed away from the females , the plan being you will collect pollen , and then pollinaate your moms in avery controlled fashion,like you enter the room and just dust one small branch , you get the best of both , a small seed stash to work with , same plant gives you new genetics and rhe rest of the plant gives you primo but
