Eager to see what some bushy ass sativas do under some LED's.
I had a lot of convos with bigger growers looking to invest 10-100k in lights.
We estimated everything but the lights would in fact pay for them selves in 10 years as far as electricity but it didnt equate to losing 50k+ a year in yields. So save money on electricity but lose $ in yield. So the bigger u are more $ u lose.
If you have 8-10k watts of hps or less it seems to be a move to make.
Commercially it doesnt seem applicable at this time. Now that wasnt at wholesale tho..
Id have to do my own numbers for that one.
So to be a commerc LED grower u gotta start a company and start buying them by the 10's of pallets. Lol
Hobbyist - yes
Warehouses - not yet. Imo
Hopefully these girls do decent i helped sell almost 45k$ of these
Haha
Led user for a long time now. It works great for my application. About 7 years using em. Also got 2 plasmas sitting because the led runs so much cooler. Them rockets costed me some bones. As for the liquid cooling idea, hydro innovations ice cooler would be primal and it's the last piece I wanna get. Once I get that going summer will be a breeze.....
