Eager to see what some bushy ass sativas do under some LED's.
I had a lot of convos with bigger growers looking to invest 10-100k in lights.
We estimated everything but the lights would in fact pay for them selves in 10 years as far as electricity but it didnt equate to losing 50k+ a year in yields. So save money on electricity but lose $ in yield. So the bigger u are more $ u lose.
If you have 8-10k watts of hps or less it seems to be a move to make.
Commercially it doesnt seem applicable at this time. Now that wasnt at wholesale tho..
Id have to do my own numbers for that one.
So to be a commerc LED grower u gotta start a company and start buying them by the 10's of pallets. Lol
Hobbyist - yes
Warehouses - not yet. Imo
Hopefully these girls do decent i helped sell almost 45k$ of these
