It's my understanding that it's licensed in Oregon. That might be why? I was looking for Ringo's Gift, myself.

Also, cucumbers are coming up already and I just planted them late yesterday afternoon. If I'm not careful, y'all might find me in a treehouse. I even feel the 'live' energy from my hemp and cannabis seeds. This should be interesting.

Funny as I was actually just smoking the Sour Tsunami, AC/DC and Harlequin all in the same bowl, minutes ago. So it's just like smoking Ringo! My AC/DC from last year, just turned to shit in August and I ended up pulling the plants and trashing em. Just planted another in the ground yesterday, so hoping for better luck this time around.

I think with the S.T. there's just not a solid phenotype. So it's pretty hit or miss when growing from seed. Would be most interested to hear if anyone has a source.

I do have a source, but I'm unsure of protocols. (Yes, I've read them, but have not yet retained) Please advise.

So, it really is Christmas. Most of my seeds popped already. 😍

Wild Bourbon was first, followed by Carolina Dream. Golden Redwood hasn't popped yet, but I sense it will be. I planted them all, covered them up.

SSSD popped. 🥰 They have been planted. I thought I had started six seeds, but alas, only five. No worries.

Tomatoes and cucumbers have started rising.

Medicinal herbs will probably be a while, it can take up to three weeks for me to see signs of life from them. I am contemplating the warming mat for them as they still seem too cold for my liking. I did put seeds in the Root Riot plugs. It may be that they want to be in soil, but I've also never started this kind of seed before so I'll be patient and see how the wind blows.

The humidity in the big tent isn't where I'd like it to be. I'd like it to be closer to 38-39% based on past experience.

I do have my water ready and waiting as I'm not inclined to do the water pH dance any time soon. pH as of now is 7.2, but by the time the plants are ready for it, it should be where it needs to be around 6.8. **I do not need this right now, only preparing in advance.

I need to order new tables since the hubs decided my tables needed to be shortened for some reason (still scratching my head over it). Fingers crossed I get the opportunity for a new tent because the big one is not light deprived as of now. I actually found a couple of spots where light comes in.

And away we go...

@khalt03 - even more off topic, I immediately thought about this recent work that hints at how we have FIVE fingers and toes. We could have had more. Looking at evolution inevitably should have you looking at extinction processes, since this is the razor edge of evolution.

A while back, I made a purchase from a person I thought was a reputable person after I received my license to grow. Turned out he wasn't so reputable and for a small grower it was a costly lesson. Seeds showed up in my mailbox with a note that they were from Oregon from someone who wanted to make it right. COAs and more info is here. But, really, are they from there? Who knows, you know? I'm trying to grow something either way. I guess we will see what comes out.

Hello @khalt03 Do you grow in Oregon? You seem like the type that would be interested in growing some high CBD hemp varieties.

I agree with you. It's funny you share a thing that I've debated back and forth with my husband in the past. Ha! I also shared it with a scientist friend of mine who already thinks I'm off my rocker, so I am. I have to keep the dream alive.

I lived in Great Bend. That be as close to the middle as it gets. How far from there as the crow flies?
I've always been fascinated by what is called midwest. I look on the map and that seems to be Kansas. But informal convention has me confused.

I have to face a monster head on starting today. I don't like it, but I made a choice long ago and it affected my family. Our current times have called it forth.

I'll write it out loud: I'm scared shitless, but I will do it quaking in my boots.

Just for today, I will focus on the joy of these plants who are brave enough to enter this world at this current time, just like we are brave enough to exist during this time. None of us would be here if we didn't want to be. The truth shall set you free.

Progress since this morning.

Temp was at a nice 82 F, 47% humidity. Not everyone can stay at these settings for the long haul, but newborns like it warm so for now it stays.

I will split off the plants who like it closer to tropical levels and put them in the smaller tent.

I'm waiting for a trellis to come in for the SSSD and CBD babies. I'm also going to hang some up for the cucumbers and tomatoes.

Growth doesn't have to be painful.

Adapting and overcoming.

I am craving a cigarette today.

How do you know when to walk away from those morally grey areas when you witness something that breaks your mind? Do you walk away or do you walk through it and face the beast? Are there times that you don't face the beast and leave things as they are trusting that that's how God/Higher Self wants it to be?

As my mind returns to itself, I realize now why I kept meeting people who would tell me their stories and ask me, "Why did I have to witness this 'thing?' Why did I survive?"

My answer to them (It happened twice I can remember clearly): "Because that's our penance or gift to the world so we can teach others how NOT to be and help others learn from our lessons. Depends on your perspective."

Of all the things to remember so clearly. These are words that I needed someone to say to me. No wonder I fucking unraveled.

So, just in case anyone wants to clear out (if anyone but me reads this) any old stuff that you thought you had dealt with and didn't... Take some Hawthorn tincture. It will bring all of it to the surface. Take it every day for a couple of weeks. Any kind of emotional roller coaster you never exited properly will be sure to come to the surface for a great clear out.

I'll be lucky if I'm not divorced after it all. Public safety spouses are not equipped to deal with repressed memories. It's not fair to him.

By the way, I just heard loud cannon fire outside. Not fireworks. Please let it be a car backfiring.
