the trend is calling all these sativa hybrid strains (OG) kush...

kind of a misnomer and real kush is a landrace from the hindu kush mountains

so in that aspect yes its a craze, a trend and a marketing ploy

still a lot of its some potent bomb ass weed, no disputing that, but there is no kush in most of these kushes

yes kush has been around for years BUT o.g. and bubba and pk really kick started the kush craze thats been going for about 10 years

i am under the assumption of og kush being a s1 of the 91 Chemdog [skunk va] found in tahoe by rascal and orgnkid who also happen to be 2 of the 3 people responsible for finding bubba and o.g. and blowing up the latest kush craze i mean ya cant hate on the guys for finding some diggity and pimpin it out but many people who have sampled both agree and also there is another part to this the same original grower of the Chemdog from the colorodo area sent some east which we all know and love as Chemdog 91 and same strain went west and was called o.g.[ocean grown as opposed to mountain grown] and has been known as o.g. kush

Yeah ca is a little kush happy, and purple happy. It's funny. Yeah I wouldn't doubt it if amsterdam had a true kush and as far as it being better than the fire cut who knows in some peoples opinion it could easily be. Others, well californians would most likely think otherwise they think they invented weed lol. Problem with CA is 215 propped up a buncha newbs that don't know their ass from a kush bag. So in the spirit of being cool say it is. I blame it on the skinny jeans. haha

well maybe somebody that knows, besides me, will post up..

I've smoked both (SSHK and Fire OG) and there is NO comparison IMHO...lotsa variables in growers, granted. I am growing SS g13/HP and Fire OG as we speak...among others. Never done a run of SS HinKush tho...just puffed.

That is my opinion anyway.

ive smoked mad kushes over the years real kushes and imvho d.j.shorts gear is some of the best kush nugget available//i havent smoked the fire but i have smoked o.g and it blows away hindu kush all day///ams has the real deal ogers cut cause d.n.a. holds it i dont know about the other comp.but dna,thseeds,apothecary greenhouse[brett hooked up arjan] all hold ogers

Medically- Kushes (heavy indica kushes) are the only thing that get me right. I need the heavy to stone of the kushes...a few other indicas will do it

I agree, but what is life without variety? I usually overdo it on the sativas in each grow, and end up wishing I had planted a couple more heavy indicas.

true kush is a landrace that means its been around forever you can find the Hindu Kush
mountain range on a map. It is a very popular strain because of its potency and indica effects . I remember when trainwreck was the biggest thing and for example the purple was all you realy hear about in bay area after rap artist mac dre promoted the hell out of it . That story very similar to Dr Dre's Chronic albums which also created a large boom in the Marijuana industry.
