Hey, have you considered a light meter...the % knobs don't give you very good control. One of these cheap meters gives you lux numbers you can read around your plant for a better idea of light distribution and intensity. Some might argue that they're not very accurate & there are better brands and styles you can get but this one gives me good numbers to work with and it helps to maximize the efficency of the light knowing where the numbers are the best, worst & in between.Supposed to get 4-8" of snow tomorrow!
Another snowblower day.
Great day for a strip down and pan cleaning.
So far these Auto Pots are fabulous, I hardly have to lift a finger.
No problems to speak of and the plants are doing sooo good.
Now I wished I just did the 4 AP grows instead.
There could be a problem with the roots growing out of the bottom
and clogging up the valve system but I think I could actually cut the roots off
with scissors without to much harn to the plant, I hope, lol,
or put some cheese cloth or a nylon over the bottom, eh we'll see.
I dimmed the lights a bit and getting ready.
I am thinking about 50% not sure If I will do more than that.
They all at about 12" now with one only 10" the AP's are the right hight of 16-18"
and the one plant in the black plastic 2.5g pot is 14-16" too.
I will prob do it in the early afternoon to let them recover some before lights out
and the 12/12 cycle begins then it starts to get interesting.
Put 1 more cutting in the bubbler
Another one went straight into dirt n watered it.
I took the "dome" off the one lil one in the solo cup and it died the next day.
Dainty things they are. But the other 2 are just fine and doing great
Both got preped but I didn't put no CX on the one put in the bubbler
only did that for the one in dirt.
So the 3 that were already in are doing great,
now I'll see what happens to the 2 I just did.
Yes I have that one, using it this growHey, have you considered a light meter...the % knobs don't give you very good control. Canadian price....probably $9.99 US....lol
I just can't do that.....I'll pull some off after a week or 2 but I just can't...I don't have the nerve...I need what I get...I fk up I'm in panic mode......I see everyone doing it but I'm not ready to jump off that bridge just yet....Had to post this before I go out and do snowblowing stuff.
Did my strip and omg it's horrible what I just did lol
I feel for them, hope they get over it soon.
My back is killin me now, dam hard work but it will pay off in the end.
Turned the FC4800 down to 8k lux for today then inch it up daily to 50% (24k lux)
I fed them the other day but some pots felt light so just watered with a bit of plain water.
I seen the AP tank was low so put in 3 more gallons of nuits.
Those Auto pot plants are frkin doing so good but the tallest one in the back got some LST.
Yea I beat it up some, looks bad in the pic lol.
Sunday night I will flip them over to 12/12 Prob 9am-9pm, then all the fun starts.
Dunno bout cuttin the roots but yes I did dip the one in Clonex before putting it in the dirt and saturated the soil beforeI just can't do that.....I'll pull some off after a week or 2 but I just can't...I don't have the nerve...I need what I get...I fk up I'm in panic mode......I see everyone doing it but I'm not ready to jump off that bridge just yet....
Did you put any clonex or? on your roots when planting from the bubbler?.....I have some just about ready to go into dirt, I just watched a vid on it they just saturated the soil...I mean saturated...I normally put i seeds in wet but not completely soaked.....I've not done them like this before, he also cut his roots to square the bottom and stood them upright not coiled in the soil......
I was just wondering about that gold priced clonex I bought if it would do miracles and give me big bad monster leaves in a couple of weeks.......I get there but gees they take their time some times....
Looks good I planted the only 3 J/PH that grew roots in my bubbler yesterday and I think like you said the bigger cuts do better. I take the small sprouts off the bottom and they take quite a bit to get going but the bigger ones take less and look stronger...Almost a week since the strip has gone by
Plants doing great, some getting a little stretch
I'm coasting at this point, the only thing I worry about
is some minor leaf issues on a couple of them.
I cleaned the humidifier out and it seems to work much better.
Used a screw driver to hack them calcium deposits out of it.
I keep the temp at 77° hummy has been tricky tho but since I cleaned it
I had to reduce the output so now at 46%
Fed them once since the strip a 70/20/10 mix of
Foliage Pro/Bloom/Mag Pro 750 PPM
I also added 2.5ml Zyme to the mix.
Next feed I will add ReCharge too.
In six days they are making a beautiful come back.
The second steamer I set on a timer to start when I figure the first one goes dry in early morning before lights on.

The clones
Those 2 I did last are rock stars!
I believe it's because of their size at the time of cutting
They were 3 nodes I think but at least 6-8" when cut.
Did well from the git go.
Didn't skip a beat when I put em in dirt too.
Only plain water so far.
The others are alive but not growing.
They have roots and green leaves but staying short.
The one dead one, in the bubbler, I didn't put CloneX on when I put it in there.

Lots of nice greenery in your kuwl sceneryRecovering nicely from the strip
14 days and I will do a smaller strip to clear some of the
leaves blocking light from the lower branches.
They looking lush and healthy but don't see much stretch.
I am thinking they too close to the light so might bring them down some.
Lux at 35-45k Light is at bout 50% Temp I try to keep it at 77-78° RH 45%
When I fed them the other day I ran a gallon of nute mix thru each pot.
Cause the runoff PH was high @ 1200 give or take.
Ramping up the feed from now on, they show no signs of burn yet.
The AP's are doing phenomenal, in fact the one in the back is going nuts lol
The clones doing well, 4 survivors, might put em in the AP when this run is done.
Waiting for flowers
Don't let me get close to them.....I got me some fast fingers and I'd pop the top off all of them soon as you turned your head....I know I have a problem.I decided to end the bubbler project.
Not sure I will do with the clones.
If they last till spring then maybe the greenhouse maybe.
The tall ones are 14 inches wow
I put the smaller one And the one in the Bubbler dirt today.
Most of the plants and the tent are in pre-flower stage now.
They are 14 to 16 inches and I am watering/ feeding them as needed each day So I have to find a system so I don’t forget which ones I watered already. I guess I’ll stick numbers on them.
Stick on neon colored circles with a W would work. I started doing that on my last grow and that helped this old folk.I decided to end the bubbler project.

Darn forgot about that lol so topped 3 of em n left the lil one alone for now being that small they don't live long for me.Don't let me get close to them.....I got me some fast fingers and I'd pop the top off all of them soon as you turned your head....I know I have a problem....I'm just saying....I got me some itchy fingers just looking at them
Looking good, I have a tent coming tracking says Monday. I've never used one before but I approached Spider Farmer to sponsor me on another grow using one of their tents to put 2 of their SE3000 in....They asked me what size I'd need...I said 4x4 so they've agreed and shipped one out....Gotta like that they've been real good to a lot of us on here. I've never seen companies do that before I like their lights now I have a chance to try a tentPacked
I have to move em out of there to get to the ones in back, lol
Level'ed out the canapy a bit, the GL in the Auto Pot in the back corner of the tent
is growing faster and bigger than any of the others.
I had to bend down some branches that spiked up to the light.
The light is 100% now with lux ranging from 35 to 61K
Temp 79° give or take a degree, RH 41-43%
PH in run off is still in the 1100 to 1200 PPM range
I have had this prob with this one plant all grow.
I finally think I figured it out as low mag prob according to the pic site of leaf probs.
So I guess I add some MP next time or maybe I will mix a small batch and dump it in.

I just fed 2 more bout 750 PPM (5ml Foliage Pro + 2.5ml Mag Pro) with PH 6.7
I am going with a PH of 6.5-6.7 this time but the AP's tank gets a PH of 5.5-5.7
I check the tank daily for any spikes in PPM or PH
Water got a lil low today so added 3 gal. of mix in there.
I gotta say so far the AP grow is outstanding with absolutely no problems.
Maybe the only thing is if one plant out grows the other, as in my case, I
cannot put anything under the pot to adjust the height because of the tank.
It has to be higher than the pots to gravity feed them properly.
If I heightened up the tank it would make for a very uncomfortable
way to test water and put water in it. I will have to check that tho just to see if it can be done.
Here are the latest jungle pic's

Darn nice of em, that's great for you too! I got everything I would need 1 5x5, 1 2x4 n 1 4x4 with a peaked top to fit between the floor joist in the cellar.Looking good, I have a tent coming tracking says Monday. possibly leaf variation..This one plant I can't figure out.
Yellow bright yellow on some of the leaves in the main stalk
and one side stalk. I put some MP straight up in the pot, for the
magnesium, which I thought for sure is the problem.
Only the one plant has had this problem from the get go.

Got lots of flowers in the tent
Now I have to keep an eye open for any males that might pop up.
Only 3 plants I don't trust as I am not sure if they are fem'd
That is the 2 AP's and there is one unkown that mysteriously appeared in one of the pots.
