Watching the updates, hope your yields were higher than mine on these. The led's are amazing for certain applications but definitely lack the PAR rating they need to be magical for us.

I can see those blue l.e.d.s at work now; the UFO looks to be putting them to shame.
hands down best ufo grow-ever!! It's not just the high quality gear you're using, it's your obvious growing prowess-good show!
Big difference between using 250w and 90w of high power led.And the growth you've gotten with one ufo is still blowing my mind!cheers buddy for your kind comments, but seriously i though you had a better setup than i an i lol your ting you gt there is space age budd.
keep up the good work:smiley_joint:
and kushmaster i got that light from ebay bout 6 month bk im not sure wat make the light is all i know is it came from china and it has 10 blue 10 orange 80 red leds
sorry geeza
peace:smiley_joint:
one thing I would do before purchasing another ufo would be a little white light experimentation-12w cree white 1w diode fixtures have a little more punch through the canopy- 3 12 watters will make a huge difference in the speed of the plants flowering development- 2700-3000 k's are available-I use 2 3000 k's and 2 4500 k's. Until we know exactly which spectrums are being ignored in current led units-a little blast of white light will do the trick-I mean-look what you've achieved with one ufo!
without a doubt, an enclosed area is absolutely essential in led culture-those beams are so narrow they could miss the plant-in all the other ufo grows that have failed you'll see the ufo placed way too far above the canopy- but check this-what if you went with your idea of another ufo but side mounted it? Full saturation above and below without damaging heat-and with the close proximity of the ufo's the intensity issues are pretty much taken care of.i will defianatley look into those diode lamps i just read something you wrote over on your thread about them increasing trich production this is something im very interested in lol,i know yeh im pretty amazed off of this ufo i think when i put the black and white reflective frame around my table that made al the difference, enclosed a whole more light around the girls
check out these 300w units-this is the company I've had the most success with- the dude running the place is quick in answering any questions you may have, I dont know if you've already seen it or not but the 300 watter looks impressive-and the 700 watter is off the chain! http://www.prosourceworldwide.com/that is a good idea bf74 but if everything goes to plan in another months time should have 3 more flood and drain tables and 9 more ufos plus other lighting cfl and diode etc up in that room i would be wasting money on buying another single ufo when could buy in bulk,im still lookin into getting the diode lamps for this grow tho,
thanks for the ideas tho bf74 much appreciated, but my uppgrade is going to be BIG lol
shiva :)
ps: put a net up 2day around the top of the frame as i dont want them to get any higher
ill have some pics up for in the morning.
