Sweet! Yah I got a sample of both his LAD phenos and the ARC. I can't smoke flowers anymore due to my allergy but I had BigJmoney put it through the Toro.

I currently have 2 LAD, 2 Whitefire Alien and 2 Whitefire x Trainwreck in my flower room with my Green Crack. IF this thread had not been created, I would be FAR LESS DILIGENT in checking for any problems. At this point, all of these 6 plants (from seed) are looking female. I, for one, am very glad for the heads up and very, very glad that the mods have stepped in to clean things up. I will try to keep things as dialed in as possible, I certainly am not over fertilizing (because of this thread) and temp, humidity etc are all in good ranges.

I am by no means a master at this game, so time will tell. If this thread is still alive in a couple of months, I'll try to remember to post some pics. By that time, good chance nobody will give a crap;)

Well from my experience on the lad, never have any herms pop up .. outdoor ..indoor.. organically grown ..ive shared two different cuts of lad with family and friends aand nothin popped up yet .. fourth time running these ladys ..in & out ..i got like 8 people running these girls some like da lilikoi cut .. some prefer the cherry popper cut and till this day no herms... went threw a 15 seed pack we picked what we thought was the best out of the bunch.. but some people would say that a 15 seed pack is not enough but thats not the issue!!! Going through so many hands something would have happend but nope ..nothin yet !!! this is just our experience... and when i say "our" i mean ,, family and friends and who ever got it... guess its the luck of the draw...... but to be honest .. had a great time running lad... it was hard time pickin the winners ..........

FWIW I have popped FPOG and starfighers and of the starfighters I got 14 females and one male. No hermies. No nanners.

The FPOG I popped 10. 7 female and 3 males. No hermies. No nanners at the end. I let my shit go a while too compared to others. No less than 70 days for the most part. I found 2 keepers in each pack (4 keepers I am still trying to decide on for numbers sakes).

Maybe its the LAD? Any other alien strains that are going nuts on people?

Testing is really important. Some strains are just plain unstable. Also, it's not really fair to knock a breeder because he or she gets more $ for their projects.

So I went though 15 alien genetics plants today while defaming them for the trimmers, I didn't see a single cluster of pollen sacks like shown in this thread except for on one of the sour pebbles, 1 of the tahoes had a Fe Lil bud nanners but I saw those while they were alive and they came lat 7 weeks deep. 6 grenades, 5 lad, 2 Tahoe and 2 pebbles. I'm stoked with how things turned out 30 plants from seed under 6k, 8 strains, 16 plants trimmed, 1 seed in sour pebb and 3 immature seed in an lad. I'm not saying the fellas with issues should be mad I'm just saying I'm stoked so far.

so I just retread this whole thread and have a few thoughts...

A. I'm very curious if there are different beans going around. Maybe diff runs, I don't know some variable in the mists I'm sniffin.

B. I feel it very fishy alien hasn't chimed in, he is usually Johnny on the spot for damage control, not saying that's what that is, but w all the people on her claiming to be his friends and chill on the real, you would reallllyyu think someone woulda texted him and he'd have something to say

C. Gritty nailed it right on te head with the "keepers". It is very apparent that everyone word of keeper is very different. I could understand why some people would keep it, uniqueness the name the hype, hell even if it is really good herb. But IMO paying extra... Hell double... For a hype out strain isn't really my cup of tea, nor should it be anyone's with have access to a medical state. Elites are a dime a dozen here. I could name 10 plants people would kill for I shake my head and roll my eyes at. Sometimes I have to remind myself there are people in non mrs states or people that smoke 7 week undone flowers, so I can see why people would say a keeper in every pack.

To me, a keeper is:
Something w a "workable" yield, even small
A great resin profile, if thc solely 25% or better, if CBD 10 or better. 10/10 bag appeal and 11/10 taste.
A herm is honestly irrelevant. I've poppep selfed beans that kill the original, and have seen others do the same. That is a "keeper" in my mind, and as I've seen for the smoke and all I really don't see these keeper in pack mentality s validity.... But like I said possibly my standards are just higher.

Small update, i found more nanner clusters on the drying seeded LAD tried taking a pic of it but figured why bother and it was blurry anyway.

Side note, everything else in my garden is still going totes titties bar a few seeds here and there thx to the LAD, still no hermies.

I agree CR it sucks. I'm just saying he normally gets back to me right away and he hasn't. He has no reason to ignore my letters so I'm figuring he's on vacation or something. He has always been so cool to me so I feel bad for him...that's all. It would be nice if he was here though...I do agree. As much as this thread makes me sad it certainly has taught me a lot. We are a family here and family's fight at least I consider you guys my family. When I've gotten so upset at people on here to the point of almost coming to blows and then we make up and alls forgiven...to me that's family. I love this place now. There's a lot of heat being tossed around these days and I like that Logic and the Mods let us work it out because in my case anyways I always end up apologizing for my part and usually all is forgiven. I've also noticed that some of the real dicks that think they can't do wrong end up leaving anyways. I got way off topic but my point is I love you all!

My question is were u surprised to find hermies in untested gear? U all bashed swerve for it, but its ok if alien does it.

Truth of the matter is i havent smoked a sample of aliens gear grown by himself that DIDNT have seed in it. And almost every other alien strain grown by someone else i have smoked has all had seed. Club owner even asked me how many seeds i think should be in a unit.. i said maybe 1. 2-3 MAX. He then says, well every nug has like 4 to 5. So take it for what its worth.

Not hating on alien, just speaking the truth. But for u guys to say all these hermies are environmental and alien himself doesnt get them then ur living in a dream world. Thats classic breeder behavior to blame the grower to save ur own ass for not testing ur beans on a LARGE scale BEFORE releasing them for 150 bucks per pack. Same thing happened to swerve and u guys shunned him. So lets see how long it takes for alien to follow swerves footsteps on the farm. The hermies are from an unstable line. Thats the truth. If u lucked out and found some that didnt hermie, or your happy with a plant that only "has a few seeds" good for you. But if u pass seeded herb on to others, u will quickly lose ur reputation.

Agreed, to me I can almost settle for a little less potency if the smells are amazing and transfer to flavors. And an amazing flavor being the key, moderately strong smoke can be acceptable...found that not everyone wants to get ripped. lol. i think the potential for smell/flavor is there in many of the beans, i just personally didn't get the tranfer on the phenoes i preferred. Still think going through enough fems or the fpog where its an expected flavor would help.

Im also with you on some nanner/herms. The late nanners i got on the LAD would not have been a problem had the flavor carried over- i would just only run that in tents or away from other plants and work on what it takes to narrow those/stay on top of it.
