How can MJ have all these different flavors...How was it bred to have different flavs that we smell and taste in fruit, candy, etc?....its kinda weird to me...been on me mind lately.

Terpenes are responsible for smells, tastes, and perhaps are partially responsible for the type and quality of the high.

I guess noone else couuld answere this it would be nice if some breeders could get some decent answer....botony is a great start.

Cannabis has some of these molecules known as terpenes in its make up. One of these terpenes are beta-caryophyllene, which contribute to the taste and flavor of cannabis.

So different strains are going to vary in their molecular make up. Which in turn will give you different terpenes, which will give you different taste and flavors.
