Yep! She's beautiful and smells great too! haha, the western honey bees absolutely love it too!Last photo is mint flowers?
Yeah they only got about 4 hrs of direct sunlight a day , I was watering 2 times a day till I said fuck it not worth my time .Give them LIFE. Water PLZ and put me in the shade and off the Rocks.. DAD... LOL "}
I have it growing all around my house. Supposed to keep rodents away. I planted it wherever weeds grow. It totally took over. No more pulling weeds and fresh mint whenever I need it. Win win. Attracts a lot of beneficial bugs too.Yep! She's beautiful and smells great too! haha, the western honey bees absolutely love it too!
That's a great idea actually, I didn't think of using it as a weed block or to keep rodents away! I was warned about mint, but I love fresh mint. I planted 1 in another spot two years ago, then 1 was soon 11...then 111...1111...then you get the idea. now ive plenty for my fresh mint tea. will show later.That's a great idea actually, I didn't think of using it as a weed block or to keep rodents away! Heh I'm okay with that! I get these annoying sticker weeds that are super sharp and hard as all get out that feeling like you've stepped on a nail pointing straight up and they get stuck in my poor doggos paws too so they're a huge hassle. I'd rather have mint than a backyard filled with those buggers lolI was warned about mint, but I love fresh mint. Yeah they suck! But I can deal with bees haha, I got a lot of wasps flying around my backyard in general. I'd rather be helping the honey bees than them though!I get those little spike balls of torture as well. Ruins a nice walk in the yard real quick. With the mint, just have to watch out for stepping on bees. Pain is almost the same, unless you are allergic, then not such a great idea. LOL
