My last grow. I started in 1968 and I have had many successful outdoor grows since. Oregon being a legal state has made it easy to maintain a huge stash and share with my friends. The dispensaries are everywhere and their suppliers/growers have overgrown and the prices keep dropping. I just bought an ounce of a 26.31% THC flower(bud) for $40. I’m 76 and think I can afford to buy it as I spend a lot of money on soil amendments, enzymes and fertilizers. They look amazing! I laughed when you said you spend alot of money on growing the plants. My hubby asked me how much money I spent on my HOBBY and I side stepped the subject. 😉

Just spent three hours Mickey Mouseing some support for the unbent plants! Supposed to get windy! I’ll never grow an unbent plant again! I what a dumb ass I was! Ran out of green tape! Fuck it! Time to get drunk, take a nap, and see what’s left tonight! And then get drunk again!View attachment 2047288View attachment 2047287View attachment 2047286 not particularly happy with the way this grow is going! But that’s what happens when you change things up!
Unbent plants are 10 times harder to maintain, then bent Plants! I knew better! Just got too cute!
I would have to agree buddy I usually bend and cage them and scrog the top but I left all the rebar and cages out in the bush. A year goes by and it all got overgrown now I have to wait until it dies back to get them out of there.

Yeah, it turns them into kind of an indoor grow look with a somewhat even canopy! At least when they’re small like mine! But when done right, can result in some massive bushes!

I like the zip ties for patching them back together! Then maybe wrapping them up. I’m clumsy! When I try to tie them up with string or tape, I come unglued and throw a tantrum when it proves difficult!
Zip strips are definitely the way to go. Every other method just doesn’t “marry the meat” (dafuq?) well enough. Them zips really do amazing. Right on chucky!

I should have built a trellis for support long ago- crap. Dude at supply store said the plant should survive
I’m making trellis today for both plants.

I have a 6ft branch that broke off hanging in the garage with buds on it.
Oh well live and learn.

Lucky13 Green Dragon (Green Crack x Peanut Butter Herijuana) is still doing well. Planted directly in the ground and watered/given nutes less than a dozen times. There was a bit of PM starting so I picked off the affected leaves. No bud rot that I've seen. We haven't had any really strong storms this year but we had hail mixed in with rain yesterday.

End of Sept. is supposed to be frost in our area but I'm hoping it's a week or 2 later this year.
Nice trellis support- I could have used that last night😢
Building trellis today and hope my plant that had a load up branch of buds break off survives.
