Hey guys I need some help. I’ve started week 6 of flowering and I have PM starting to show up on mostly bottom leaves on some of my plants. I picked up some Potassium Bicarbonate and started spraying it with a mixture of 2 tablespoons per gallon of water. Couple of ?’s should I cut the infected leaves off? And is this mixture a cure for pm or a just trying to keep it at bay? If so how often should I use it and is it safe to spray it on my buds? The weather looks pretty good as far as rain goes but we have heavy dew every morning? I sprayed late in the day so what’s the effect on it with the heavy dew? Is it safe to spray it after the dew dries or only late afternoon? I’m feeling pretty beat down cuz my grow looks and is the best I’ve ever grown but based on being ready mid October seems so far out ahhhhh!

Can you shoot a picture of the plants? Even a two week old one will do. Just to get an idea of what they look like. From a distance. Bummer man!

I went back and found a couple from a week or two ago. Wait until you get a few opinions. But the first thing I would do is remove all of those shade leaves. In my opinion, they have outlived their usefulness and now are just incubators for problems. Get some airflow through those things. You will have to decide what to spray on them. I think spraying buds with anything but water should only be a last resort. Just my two cents on where to start. I am removing all my fan leave for the most part.

Yeah, those things are like a suit of armor restricting airflow through that plant. In my opinion, they are not necessary anymore! The bud sites have their own little support system of smaller leaves. Open those plants up and get some airflow and some sunlight down into the middle. At least try it on one or two. That’s just what I would do. Good luck brother.

A larfy lower nug I picked off of the weed I grew, got high from smokin a pinch hit but the taste was off and it seems to be pretty wet still..think my problem is I chopped it just 1 day after watering it

Edit: not really wet just really sticky but you can tell it's not dried all the way yet
But I'm actually high off taking that one hit πŸ˜† definitely a sativa leanin hybrid high

I grew some fire πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚ smoked 3 more pinch hits of a lower nug, before cure (its still hung up drying)and it's got me feelin good, only thing is there is a slight hay taste at first but after I can still taste how the weed smells just a slight off taste at first..will that hay taste leave in cure? Or after fully dried?

Just tested another small nug No more hay taste, and it's sticky and spongy , probably let it go til early next morning jarring it up...no boveda packs on hand tho Any tips?

It’s not too late to trim up your plants. I defoliate daily throughout flower, but first I remove a bunch of tangled and leafy undergrowth. In my humid climate ventilation and airflow are important.

Anything below the yellow line is fair game, and anything, leaf or bud, deep inside the bush. Anything that’s yellowing, anything with spots or dead areas. Cut it out, that’s what I chose to do.
