I Wait until I have 3 years of dog drool saved up, mix it in with ground babies and just go hog friggin wild, it’s a complete fertilizer. Grows 300lb plants on mars.
Just a guess, but I would think, washing off dead diatoms might be easier than washing off fungicide and pesticide. And please don’t mention the word hogs around me. That is the most troublesome pest around here. I fear there may be a bloodbath on the horizon!

They do suck. Them bacon seeds are loathesome sort. If I had my way, woodchipper into a giant cast iron skillet. Holler. I’ll take bacon strips right outta their backs. With my teeth. 🤣🥓

How do you use the bits ? U ever did a drench with em? I've only watered it in after letting it sit overnight then filtering the bits out of the water
I prefer dunks over the bits they seem to leech off much easier as they basically totally dissolve.

Letting it leech into the water and drenching is definitely the way to go with them if you need to use them.

Dunks aren’t going to kill already adult gnats but it’s going to kill any larve baby’s in the soil. The adults live about 8 days so long as the eggs are killed in the soil the problem goes away pretty easily.

And look up diatoms! You won’t be smoking seashells, you will be smoking glass!😂🐒

And all that glass is getting inhaled by people putting it on budding plants. That bud is forming right around all those little razor sharp particulates going right into peoples lungs.

Do you take the covers off during the day?
Nah it's screwd to the ridge board only so you can havre it double up on either side for "access " to either row. The hoop house table is more of a permanent type of situation..

Yes! I've been fighting them assholes all season. They have destroyed a lot of vegetation. I had to break out the Bifen/ Talstar 3A insecticide to kill them off. I tried garden dust, trifecta, Neem and another spray for beetles and borers. The Bifen is the only thing that killed them. I hate using 3A pesticides but if I didn't they would have killed my plants. The beetle bags work but not good enough. At least for my region and infestation. We also have a new pest on the block, Chinese lantern flies.

So, what's the plan? Are you going to spray them?
I need to check mine too. Been putting it off 'cause if I don't look, it's not there. ;)
If she dies she dies lol no it's too far into flower and I'm looking for the pheno that is resistant to pm. Right now only three of the ten have succumb to it.

Trifecta mixed with a few teaspoons of Neem oil works really good, all natural, safe for flower

The Amish here use netting... I didn't even bother with growing outside this year.

The netting is almost as thin as panty hose, just can't think of the name of it off hand.

Yeh, at the beginning of the season it went to 90+. and no rain..... Then it went to weeks of rain... and hasn't stopped.

In the mornings it's 90% humidty 60's... then by noon it's 80% and 70's. lol!

Do not spray DE directly on your flowering plant I cant believe people on here are telling you to do that.

You will end up with contaminants all up in your flower with DE do you want to smoke w bunch of ground up shells?

Neem oil shouldn't be sprayed on flowering plants past 2 weeks into flower in some say it's okay up until 3 weeks of harvest but these people are growing some doo doo crop. Soon as you start having pistel production neem oil can and will severely affect your crops terps.

DE is meant for soil application so like ants and other ground insects track thought it and dry out / die.

Unfortunately you need to try and take care of your bug problem prior to flower in most cases.

Take your garden hose and start hitting your plants all over it will knock the insects off.
Thank you
I had read on a DE website that de in water was an option.
Fortunately, it didn't work .
Thanks for the neem oil tips.
And
For the water garden hose tip to remove pests
My outdoor cannabis experience is limited
Thank you again

I know what you are talking about but I forgot what it's called too. I'm about ready to build a hoop house/ greenhouse to be done with the outside weather and pests
