[/QUOTE]you can't put leds in the same room as hps and try them to compare they need to be led in one room and hps in the other however some ppl recommend the hps with the the led so u can get the heat from the hps and the spectrum from the led and they do really well we took all the light out our barns and replaced all leds and couldn't be happier I personally pull way more weight off the leds with my lights on 50% thats like 300w a light we have 8 fluence spider 2i per room once u figure out how to grow with the led (cus it is different) grams per watt should be way better our last we got 1.9 per watt on a lower yielding strain but it was fires
What organic nutrients should I be using I’m using advanced nutrients rn and having a hard time with soil phStrange, my post didn't post.
Yes, you are correct.
I need to either do it, or watch someone who are top notch document a comparison.
I also am very confident. Almost cocky, but there's a difference.
Those who know it all can't learn anything. I do not know it all. Not by a long shot.
I'd actually enjoy meeting someone who has more experience, and gets better results
I'm not a fan of AN, but it works. What organic nutrients should I be using I’m using advanced nutrients rn and having a hard time with soil ph
Ph going in is supposed to be 6.4 but I don’t really know I was using a 12$ ph meter got a better one now though the soil is fox farm ocean forest and ppms are between 1000 -1200 I’m using purified water cuz I have hard water so I’m adding in calmag 2ml per liter usin the advanced nutrients 2ml per L and one tbsp of molasses just started 2nd week of flower today and noticed a day or two ago my soil ph was high in the 8 range so past two days been using just water and vinegar with low ph to bring it downI'm not a fan of AN, but it works.
What's the PH going in, and ppms.
What's the same readings coming out?
What kind of soil are you using?
Yes, getva better meter asap.Ph going in is supposed to be 6.4 but I don’t really know I was using a 12$ ph meter got a better one now though the soil is fox farm ocean forest and ppms are between 1000 -1200 I’m using purified water cuz I have hard water so I’m adding in calmag 2ml per liter usin the advanced nutrients 2ml per L and one tbsp of molasses just started 2nd week of flower today and noticed a day or two ago my soil ph was high in the 8 range so past two days been using just water and vinegar with low ph to bring it down
So after I used just water and vinegar today it’s down to 7-6 next watering probably tomorrow morning I’m gonna use my nutes again but I did this yesterday with just water an vinegar it went down then this morning was up again I’m worried if I use my nutes it will just keep going upYes, getva better meter asap.
Your soil is hot. Fox Farms used to have such clean soil back in the day. Now I've seen sticks, bark......
Feed only ph'd water until you get to about 700 ppms.
When you know your ph, let me know, and youll have em healthy in no time.
Ph going into soil should be between 6.5-7. 6.8 being optimal
Now that looks like the product of an HPS? The cameras have gotten so much better, I can't be certain.

If 71 was the year you were born, and you're the "Old Guy", I'm right with ya.
Not old enough to have seen Zeppelin
Ok, i really know nothing about LEDs. As for age. Yip, I'm exactly in your shoes there. It’s under a 3000k kingbrite 240w led.
Born in 71 going to be 50 this year. Who have guessed I’d live this long
Now that's a unique structure. Is she tough to trim? Mad Dog has ben around a few? Do you know the cross?
That’s a pretty flower!! It looks like it’ll knock you for a loop!!Now that's a unique structure. Is she tough to trim? Mad Dog has ben around a few? Do you know the cross?
I started with hps back in the day. I switched to leds about 4 years ago. As far as I know 2700k is best but these have added red diodes. I don’t know the color temp the ladies see. Don’t know the lumens either. They have 2 of the 288 lm301H boards and meanwell hlg driver so they are super efficient.Ok, i really know nothing about LEDs. As for age. Did you start with LEDs, or swith from HPS?
3000k is a better spectrum for flowering (I could have swore 2700k is ideal), but I read about that so long ago, I could be mistaken how many lumens does it put out, per 240W?
