Lollipop or Defoliate? Week 1 Flower

End of week 1 flower. Blue dream is starting to stretch and I really don't need to trim much off. Silver haze on the other hand is way too dense and I definitely need to get in there. So should I just do a light-medium defoiliation on silver haze and then lollipop them both in 2 weeks or just do it now?

I'm a newb, but my assumption is it would be better to defolate some until you start to get buds forming. I'm really commenting to follow and see what the vets have to say.. are they autos or photo?

Photo, that's what I'm thinking too. Newb as well my friend, this is my third grow. The only thing is that there are so many smaller branches growing off my main branches that I don't want them to keep sucking the nutrients. So I want to cut them but that would probably end up being a major defoiliation.
