No "magical" new lamp...cmh..hps..mh..led..cob is getting around that. Evem your t5's in 1000 watts of fixtures will put out...you guessed it..about the same heat load of a 1000 watt hid. Maybe not a point source..but still a watt of heat is a watt of heat. People on these forums..whichever light they champion...put out some outlandish claims.
