Cmh lights still put out a marginal amount of heat. Nothing like a 600 or 1k. I run 2x 315 in veg, plus 4x4bulb t8 lights, and 4x 315 in flower. Believe it or not, I pull numbers like you 1k guys do, but way less power. Dialed in, co2, and genetics play a roll in grows

You dont think 3 or 4 315 cmh lamps stacked 3 foot on center put out a radiant heat load very similar to an un cooled 1000 watt hps or mh? Because they do. A watt of heat is a watt of heat. No "magical" new lamp...cmh..hps..mh..led..cob is getting around that. Evem your t5's in 1000 watts of fixtures will put out...you guessed it..about the same heat load of a 1000 watt hid. Maybe not a point source..but still a watt of heat is a watt of heat. People on these forums..whichever light they champion...put out some outlandish claims.

I did say "marginal". I run all a.c. hoods. I can place my hand on any glass directly under the bulb and it' warm, not burning hot.

Take a 300 watt hps (if they made them - they actually do..but not well known) and put it in the same hood..your gonna get the same heat ( or lack of - or warm in your case) guaranteed.

No more airy buds, after some good advice one week later I’ve got no worrys at all. I increased the holes in my tubs and upped the feed to every other day and it’s worked. This bud is dense and dripping with THC!!
Boom!! Massive thank you to everyone that commented on here good and bad. The cheap Chinese BOSSLED are working, agreed they’re not the best on the market and other lights are better but for my situation and set up they’re working for me. Thanks guys, happy growing.!!!
