Louie XIII and Pre 98 Bubba Grow...

Hey Everyone.

Currently Vegging 14 cuts of Louie and 10 Bubbas I received from my Buddy.

Louies and Bubba's are going to grown in 1. 4x4 tray and 1. 2x3 tray Drain to waste. in 6x6 rockwool cubes.
Also I am going to be trying to Train these Girls and some Scrog action.

Room is going to be sealed running C02
Lights are Air Cooled 1000 watt & one 600 watt
trying to rig a portable A/C from the next room over. Or if I can rig a box for the Window unit I have..
scrubber in the room
and some Fans.

Nutrients used are going to be

House & garden Hydro A & B
Roots Excel.
Protetk
Great White
Liquid Karma
Sweet
Bud XL
Shooting Powder
Floralicious plus
Diamond Nectar
Hygrozyme
and some Cal-Mag

Pics are 1 week from the Cloner to being transplanted into the 6x6 cubes..

1st time growing either of these strains. Hope I can get a good pull...

There is a LUI 13 done by Dutchgrown, but I dunno if it's the same thing.. If it is, it's Legends Ultimate Indica x G13

This Is what I was told...

The genetics are still a bit hazy. I hear its a bubba cross, then i hear its a og fire cut. I cant say i really know. Its a super strong vigorous plant that stacks nodes crazy tight. Should be a 9 weeker.

Been awhile since I last posted. the 1st crop was infested with bugs so I had to chop and start over.

going on 4 weeks of veg. I have them under a 1k light 24 hours for the last week of Veg. ppms are around 1000 Ph is started at 5.8 and allowed to drift up to 6.5 Ph

I noticed that they seem to be stuck at their current height of about 20" super bushy and nodes stacked like crazy.. but I get them to stretch out I have them in 6x6 blocks.
temps in veg are 80-85, humidity around 50%-60%

Questions this is my 1st hydro run ever. and I am trying to determine how much water should be in the block, currently when I feed I have no run off. but roots are nice and white. When I fed before with about 10% run off I noticed my roots where browning up fast.

I am feeding once a day by hand about 2 1/2 cups per block.

also I noticed since I put them under the 1k Hps the leaves have been yellowing up. But I am going light on the H&G A-B calls for 1.2 ec (600ppm) 5.5Ml per gallon
but I am currently using about 2.5Ml per and my Ec comes out to about 0.8 (400ppm) I just switched to H&G a-b- drain to waist Nutes. I heard they run Hot so I have been going light on the A-B. but after all the other nutes are added my ppms come out to about 900.

also I noticed some Knats flying around now. never had a problem with these lil flys. can they be a problem if not handled right away?.. planning to turn on the O2 on 1st day of flower which is tomorrow.. if I blast the O2 will that take care of them?

Ok going into 2nd week into Flowering.. now these guys are starting to take off. Bumped the Base A&B EC up to 1.4 PPM 700 after all the good stuff total PPm's are 1,100 at 5.8 Ph.. temps have been 80 lights on 70 lights off Humidity is around 40%. been feeding ounce a day about 4 cups hand fed.


First up are pics are of the Louie XIII, The Smell is straight up Super Lemony Fuel... Last 2 pic's is what I was given from the guy I received the cut from, and it tasted just as it smells!. He grew his under LED lights which he will never do again.. His grow came out decent but he was not happy spending $1,700 total on his LED lights which did not even come close to yielding as a 1k HPS would...

Thanks for the kind words, Well heres a update. Currently on Day 30 since 12/12 Flip. Had to flush yesterday PPm's were running off 2000 blinking on my Hanna PPM meter. So I flushed them until I got a 800 ppm runoff reading. then Tonight I fed them about 1.4 Ec base (750ppms) then I did the recommended dose of Bud Xl 3.8 per mil. plus the other goodies.

First time running these girls, I would've liked to trim more on the undercarriage and fan leaves, but I am still gun shy when it comes to stripping them down before flip or into the first 3 weeks... these girls will be taken to 9-10 weeks

Thanks, just trying to dial her in, temps been 74 during day on 68 at night, the weather is nice right now I don't even need to run the A/c with all this rain we been getting ... I think I also need to add some cal mag to the Rez. I was told H&G had cal mag already added to a&b but I am noticing some cal mag def.

How do you use your Liquid Karma in conjunction with the rest of your nutes i.e. how many mills, what weeks. And also im curious as to what it actually does (is it just a growth stimulator?), and also how you feel about it personally. Thanks!

Hey, I pretty much use in in Veg. and up to the 3rd week in flowering.
I like it because it has Amino Acids,Humic Acid and seaweed extracts. for the price Cant beat it.. plus my plants love it..

heres a litte update these where taken on day 40. Louie starting to chunk up a bit... She loves the Cal-Mag. got her at around 1400 ppms and temps been freezing, might have to put a heater in the room if you look close you can see the louie starting to have a hint of purple. lights on been around 68-70 and off around 60-65...

You are right about that Peanut Smell plus with a trashy stink..

Looks great. Had the Louie at the club once & found it to have a bit of a hashy flavor in it. Nice OG, but I prefer the pinesol or lemon pledge OG's myself.

I ran nearly the same additives & was pretty happy with it, cept I used GH base nutes and Koolbloom/cha-ching instead of BudXL & shooting powder. I did start to have one issue which I guessed was because LK, Floralicious Plus, & Diamond Nectar seemed to be doubling up on the humics & kelp, so I alternated LK one day & the other 2 the next. You haven't had any issues stacking those at the same time? Currently running H&G full line w/ ro in coco and came up short on the CalMg as well, so I think you're correct that the base nutes come up a bit short. Supplementing w/ GO CaMg+ fixed it (no additional N).
