Loupe (30x) as I use it WAY more in vegging and early flower then harvest. I can use the loupe without removing leaves from the plant, look at stems, start fires in the yard, whatever. And you don't need anything stronger for trichomes. I leave mine in my shorts and wash it a couple times during a grow, so never get anything too fancy. (Same reason I still have a flip phone. By the time I hear it in pounding around in the dryer, it's hard to bring it back to life.)

Anything like these https://www.amazon.com/Best-Sellers-Arts-Crafts-Sewing-Jewelry-Loupes/zgbs/arts-crafts/8090802011
(I think the small 60x are worthless on these, just too small, but the 30x is fine.)
This is what I need at 2 pack for $10

I like the carson micro but in 40x for trichomes. Nice big view easy to keep still.

I have tried a bunch of stuff and bought extras of these.

I have that digital one. its no where near the power they claim. but it is powerful enough to spot bugs. russet mites, etc. works well. but you do need to take a sample if you want to observe it.

Thanks. How do you hold it to the phone? You are able to hold it to the phone by hand and keep it from making blurry images? I have 1 of the 60-120 mini microscopes and it is so hard to see the trichomes with it. It is very blurry. I do not want to take the plants out of the tent and it is hard to bend down into the back of the tent and be able to see the trichomes with this thing. Does anyone have any tips or should I get 1 of those $20 microscopes that plug into the phone that way I would not need to bend down into the tent to look at trichomes on plants in the back of the tent on there?
