yup....each side....a footprint of 1000w is ( /*\).. So i make my trellis shape (\___/) recieve all that light...
Hell ya bro looks great. Ya the net was a last min thing this round just so I didn't have to deal with pipe cleaners and strings. If I put it up earlier I would have utilized it more but it still is a great help. Now that I got the drip all dialed in I want to keep veg time down to minimal.View attachment 722787 Heres a ol pic of last one.86 tops 4 plants,3.5wk veg(u hav to weave to veg for a true scrog) and 9wk finish.if i remeber right just over 17zips.n i wasnt dialed n.lmfao
Yep and that you knew means your right on top mof what you need to !he may b talking to me on that.i grabbd mine n wk4flip.lol.hit her heavy to bring her back...2wks is all it took me.i cut that shit out right after pic.its nitetime 4 them, giv me few hrs ill sho u an update.
In my limited experience I have always had a little claw while I try to dial in. Lol. This time I had to run 1/2 strength N with veg nutes. But once they're happy you can really see them growing quickly.Yep and that you knew means your right on top mof what you need to !
Nobody should ever get upset when they have a tox or a diff....
I promise you we ALL are always on the borderline of one or the other!
Hell I got several leaves that look like that..
@Wisher619 If we lowered our veg nutes, lets say my floragrow, to 1 Ec,In my limited experience I have always had a little claw while I try to dial in. Lol. This time I had to run 1/2 strength N with veg nutes. But once they're happy you can really see them growing quickly.
U know why I can spot it so well,?Definitely got ya. I was like daaamn eagle eye! Hahah. But yea it will be awesome. Remember I through that net over top of them right after I flipped just for support. I didn't weave not one branch so definitely won't reap the benefit of scrog.
the first thing to show is Cal@Wisher619 If we lowered our veg nutes, lets say my floragrow, to 1 Ec,
what would be the first thing the plant showed a deficiency in?
Would it be Cal or mag?
And how do you know the answer to the question i just asked? Equation, math?
My thinking is when you use the FNG (floranova Grow)
at a high Ec, it has too much N in it for most if not all Mj plants.
So if you half it, then some element would prob fall from the necessary level.
And that is the element you would want to add to bring that element up to the level its needed.
I know we could just go to fnb, but i desire to understand my feed, and my elements better...
what I meant to say is start with FNB and switch to P/K last 2 weeksthe first thing to show is Cal
reason being is your N is Calcium Nitrate
probably the first ingredient on the bottle
so by lowering the feed....*which makes no sense* to lower N you are essentially lowering your cal.......but wait
this entire analogy is misguided
by lowering your ec you arent changing ratios
you are dropping available minerals.....all minerals
Cal/N/Mg might show up at th same time....along with P *purple stems*
the only way to cut down on N is to switch to bloom or use a 2 part Mineral based feed
such as Jacks
where you can raise and lower N
Cannabis needs about 100ppm of N
and about 45 ppm during flower
it also needs about 150ppm of Ca
and about 75-100ppm during flower
by running a hydro feed +Calnit
you can adjust you N accordingly
if not
switch to a bloom like FNB
actually
you should start with FNG
and then around week 6 of flower switch to just P/K booster for a 9 week flower
cutting out N completely
you can do that with say Flora Series 3part
if you are running Lucas 8/16
the last to weeks you bump to 0/22
what ever light you have availableIs using LEDs and CFLs together in partnership a bright idea :)
I personally would never run CFL because they are ineffective beyong 8" of distanceI might have read that the cfls smother the led rays.
I was under that impression as well. The cfls wouldn't decrease the penetrating power of the LEDs would they?I personally would never run CFL because they are ineffective beyong 8" of distance
then it is really just ambient light
the plant dosnt care much about smooth light
it only cares if it is getting specific wavelengths or not and how intense those wavelengths are
if your LED is blurple then CFL will help you to be able to see in your garden
but that is about it
but for the plants
if you are giving the correct spectrum your plants can absorb.....the plant dosnt care much if you can see or not
no....it is just adding wavelengths in differ nmI was under that impression as well. The cfls wouldn't decrease the penetrating power of the LEDs would they?
yeah 12"-24" is a good distanceI just installed my 300w LED panel. The biggest plant is undoubtedly female and is starting week 3 of 12/12. Is it ok to keep the light any closer than 18" during flowering?
maybe you dont get it?The TDS of the water I use reads 4000 ppm straight out of the tap. It then reads 1680 ppm after I add all my nutes. Do I not get this TDS thing or does that not make any sense?
