I really don't want to step on toes. I don't

I can agree with that. Maybe my conclusions would actually be correct in my case and not yours. My thing is by the time you've tried to squeeze an extra QP out of your cycle you could have run a whole nother cycle and harvested a whole other 2 pounds. Thats my thinking at this point. I also feel like the faster you can kick them through without hiccups the less likely you are to run into issues. I feel like the problems start arising when I start training and causing stress on the plant. You start getting nutrient excesses and deficiencies. Thats my experience. Thats why I'm naming my grow room the frost factory.

Assembly line growing. Boring is good. I can link you to a guy who's fully automated no till. He basically could walk in and plant his clones and never walk into his grow room again until harvest.
here is the problem
2-3 days isnt disturbing any cycle....

if you havnt grown Hydro then it is hard to explain how plants grow

EXPONENTIALLY FAST

makes anything else look like a joke

they can literally 1" a day or more

that was my point

if you arent hydro then this convo is pretty mute

I was just having a convo with @EventHorizan
about his pheno hunt
and he said
"if I wait 2 more weeks my plants will be in the lights"
that would be 18" of growth

organic can remotely hang with that

my outdoor is pretty fast and hearty but not like my hydro

You'd be surprised. We have tricks up our sleevs. 1 is coconut water. I can bring out branches just by feeding coconut water. I'll run northern lights next run no physical training. I tell ya the bottoms will catch the top in an already bushy strain like NL.

Do you got like a 5x5x5 container of dirt in your house??????
If that is what that is, oh shit..
I could just see me saying,
Hun, Im gonna move a truck load of dirt down into our basement :(
Lmao!
I have to go hire a few Mexican backhoe's to get er down ther...
Well I dont even think the popo would confiscate it lol...

You know brother, u seem like a smart dude,
and maybe pretty skilled at what you do,
and maybe your only downfall,
which is all of our downfalls,
is we are ignorant to what we have not seen...

Piggybacking off of that,
brother you know what your next step in your mj evolution should be!
THIS......
just slightly bigger... 250 gallon fish tank 5x5 grow area above!

Dont act like you aint smiling right now!
Now you laughed,

Brother it dont get no more organic than that!
You sound like a leader!
Noah I say you lead us to the promise land where organic meets hydro!
WOAH.......
Talk about growth!
And we can eat the tilapia if we get the munchies!
:)

I have been growing organic no till since the 90's

I know all the tricks

you are speaking to Yoda
j/k

but in all honestly
I have been growing organic since the 90's
there are no tricks that I havnt done
from Aloe Vera to coco water
which are both pseudo science in my view

growing organic in pots is ridiculous to me
it is a revolution with *no future*
but that is just my personal opinion

everything outside of my house is organic
worm poop and organic vinyard compost

Compost tea evey few weeks

no water

oats and peas in the winter
then you chop it and use as mulch and plant through

I dont care how fast anyone can get organic to grow
it will never compare to the speed of hydro.....it just wont
until a person experiences hydro they just dont understand

it is like comparing Nascar to F1
there is just no comparison

Coconut water contains cytokines and phytokines which are growth regulating and immunity signalling hormones and can be uptaken where they remain until digested.

barley meal*
I use malted barley flour and ground organic popcorn also. There are over 250 different cytokine known. I buy a case of coconut water for $15 and it lasts a year. 50lb bag of whole malted barley $60. God knows how long that will last. I use alfalfa straw as mulch. I got a 50lb bale for $100. That will last forever. I buy a bag of compost since my pile isn't mature for $10 that lasts a year.

We do spend our money on this. This is where we save money. Remember I don't have to buy $50 worth of nutrients per cycle.

neither do I

I spend $14.00
and it lasts me 2 1/2 cycles indoors

outdoors
I havnt spent 1 dollar in about 5 years

@Wisher619 I don't brew. I top dress. Most no till gardeners only top dress because we understand soil solution chemistry and all the processes that happen when we add these compounds to our soil.

Coconut water is also an immunity booster as well as a wetting agent. It creates perfect conditions for bacterial growth. Some compare it to a petree dish.

@fatawa You know I only purchase this stuff once. By the time you run 5 cycles you're essentially adding compost between each cycle. Thats it. Maybe a kelp/neem top dress. So we're talking pennies on the dollar friend. Also as I said once the system is looping and the soil food web takes over you can walk away. No more nutrients. Compost top dress every 6 months if that.

The system will even begin to handle is own IPM with proper beneficial varieties.

All items I mentioned are on Amazon via build.a.soil. You can buy the complete system start up. No till consists of a lot of pacing around with nothing to do lol. I literally took clones then let them die.

Can I say again I haven't downed hydro. It's about lifestyle, space, money, etc.

I want to save up for 3x315w phantom cmh. I have an extra bedroom and I have no kids. I am running a family owned business from the floor up. I work 80 hours a week sometimes.

Hydro is an art. As I said I'd fall flat on my face and I'm a plumber....

I am over the condesending bull shit

@Organikz
because you are on a forum and you "no till" in a fabric pot dosnt mean you know anything about anything
which you consistantly prove that you don't

I will call out ANYONE on any forum and elsewhere
if you were in front of me...I would take you up to Ca Poly agg dept and we would all laugh in your face at the pour attempt at recreating nature in a fabric pot

there is no such thing is "No Till" in a fabric pot

I dont even think you know what the term imply's
I presume you havnt even been to a farm

you are *attempting* to explain pseudo-organics to someone who's Aunt and Grandfather both have PhD's in Botany
whom planted his first strawberry patch at the ripe old age of 3

I am not an exclusionist but you have no business in a thread on leaf stripping Hydro plants

you are becomming rediculous
I almost never call anyone out

but you are becoming extremely annoying

soil solition chemistry?...are you serious?

dude you are a plummer
and that is an extremely important and highly respectable profession
but it has nothing to do horticulture

just because you chat with organic growers and read a few obscure research papers all while trying to recreate nature in a bedroom with an artificial light source
dosnt mean you literally have knowledge at anything
it is more "Bro Knowledge" than anything

there are alot of fantastic organic growers out there
until you step out of the closet and into the sunshine of an actual ecosystem with electrical current/magnetism/sound and light wave.....infinite singled celled organisms..etc......
you are just playing "Make believe"
show me a legit plant in the ground and I will talk organic

until then it is just nonsensical fodder
