All I can say is HOLY FUCK !!! I should have built one along time ago,8 Gallons RO,poured in 3 Red Solo cups of EWC, 5 TBSP of each pack of Caps, put in 300 ML of Hi Brix, foamed in like .00001 seconds never seen anything like it........:D:D:D:D

These all look so awesome.

Forgive me for my ignorance, but besides the much larger capacity, what are the main advantages to building one of these as opposed to running 5 gallon buckets with multiple airstones?
 
Yes chemtainer is in the CPT.

Ha....those guys are right next to my local Home Depot.

From what I understand, the Vortex style is better because of no dead spots, and better DO.
 
From what I understand, and people please correct me if I am wrong....water temps aren't as important in a vortex brewer as say a bucket with airstones. I think I read something like that on Microbemans site....but could be wrong.

I have never even checked temps, even when I used a bucket to brew in.

I use that batch witch will be about 10 Gallons and dump it into 100 Gallons of Ro Water, then Add Sea Green to it, water plants with it

Hey brother when you do this... is it by hand or do you run a timer and pump when watering?
 
All by hand but its worth it, just put your barrel up on bricks, let gravity do her thing...;)
