These all look so awesome.

Forgive me for my ignorance, but besides the much larger capacity, what are the main advantages to building one of these as opposed to running 5 gallon buckets with multiple airstones?

Yes chemtainer is in the CPT.

Ha....those guys are right next to my local Home Depot.

Rock and Roll Oscar.....I think I am going to upgrade from my 5 gallon arrowhead model.

These all look so awesome.

From what I understand, the Vortex style is better because of no dead spots, and better DO.

From what I understand, and people please correct me if I am wrong....water temps aren't as important in a vortex brewer as say a bucket with airstones. I think I read something like that on Microbemans site....but could be wrong.

I have never even checked temps, even when I used a bucket to brew in.

All by hand but its worth it, just put your barrel up on bricks, let gravity do her thing...;)
