Despite a small nutrient burn during the first week, the Madonna's are doing great. I am hoping they will stretch a little bit more and fill out the screen a little better, but if not I know to just veg them for another 5-7 days. I have never had a strain eat so lightly. I just saw my first real drop in ppm's today. They went from 300 to 140 over night. Previously, they would go from 300 to 240 overnight. The Hericules went in smoothly and seems to be doing fine, I also hope they are a little more stretchy than the Madonnas if they are going to fill out my screen, but only time will tell. At the moment, I only have the co2 generator water cooled with drain to waste. Im saving up to water cool the whole room though. Looks like dual 6" iceboxes or a single 8", and using copper tubing in the res's and looping the return water through the MiniGen since it doesnt take much to cool it. And run all that with a 1/2hp chiller and a 50gal cooler. But it might get tweaked a little before it actually goes in.

Glad you made it over Boomer, I just hope this goes as good as the others. After that Piss turned out so weak, it makes me a little nervous working with new strains. But the tiny samples I had of these girls was promising, they were stronger than the Piss grown under cfl's, beeing seeded to all hell, and never growing over 6" tall.

Thanks Mary. I am real excited on this run. I have been waiting for quite a while to get my Sannie genes ready to go in my room. The Madonna I seeded smelled just like grape Jolly Ranchers. So I cant wait to see what the finished product turns out like. If only I could fast forward time by 6 weeks.

It might be closer than you think. Keep in mind when looking at my pics that the room is only 10ft wide, 5ft deep, and 3ft4in tall. Its a small crawlspace under my stairs, but I try to make the best of the space. Oh and for refrence, the screen is 3ft x 8ft. There are a lot of closets out there that could fit my grow room in it.

The Madonna is not a heavy yielder............ and most of it's finished weight is in the main cola. Obviously, it didn't respond well to the topping- I'm not surprised. Just doesn't seem to me like a good scrog plant. Hericules, on the other hand, spreads it's weight around more and is a heavier yielder so it will do better under your conditions.

Thanks for the info. So far she has spread out very well and I have high hopes of a decent harvest off of her, but we'll have to wait and see. But the Hericules is a beast compared to her just in the veg room. She grew twice the size, twice as fast as the Madonna. Did your Madonna smell like grape? I did small clones to sex the moms and then bred them with the males I had, and she smelled just like grape candy. I had never smelled herb that smelled like that. So I want to find what I have to do to make her perform as good as the others in my setup. It might have been your pheno though because Madonna is supposed to be a decently big yielder.

Yes, Madonna has loads of grape/berry overtones. More pronounced after drying. But I was a little disappointed with the buzz. I grew out 12, only 3 were females. I grew plenty of them. Long veg will yield more but I only got about 1 z or a little more per plant. You'll get almost twice as much out of the Hericules.................

For my res changes, I have a small Mag Drive inline pump. Since my res holds 5 gallons, it works out perfect where I just hook the pump to the res and then to an empty 5 gallon bucket and drain into that. Then I have a 5 gallon bucket that I have nutrients premixed in pictured here...

that I gravity feed to fill the res with. Takes about 5 minutes to do a res change. As for the vacations, I have a roommate that I taught how to run my garden and she watches it when Im gone. I also have a buddy for backup that I taught the ropes to.

My computer is a total shitshow anymore - got a virus a month ago that wiped my hard drive clean.

And yeah, I notice it runs slower whenever I'm perusing these "weed" sites, but I also use a VPN, so that could be it.

But to answer your question, no, haven't gotten that message - I also use Internet Explorer because Firefox crashed too much for me, though.
