Hmm.. so buds are more full, but my assumption would be the THC levels wouldn't be higher, just some better looking buds, easier to Trim, Dry, etc... am I more on base here?

If yes, there is something to be said about having say 8/10 Nice big buds per plant instead of 20 mediocre. Put in the time on the front end, instead of the back. Perhaps this is a better way for me to understand the process better.

If I was growing for 8 main tops how big should they be before flip? Shooting for 2-3 zips a plant

those plants in the pics I posted have been vegging for 2 months(from seed)
this method slows them down a bit.
but it also beefs them up! Im liking the big branches..

How big?

I would say grow a plant as big as you have room for in the flower room
Bigger is better imho

I would say grow a plant as big as you have room for in the flower room

Ken / of course bigger the better, but do you just set up a time and say f-it, time to move on ladies, or do you let the strain/size manage the move up time line?
I do most everything from seed still, so my time line seems to drag on and on. What is your estimate on plant foot print size toward end of flowering?

im going to try this. a few questions though.

if i were to flower this indoors how long would i have to veg a typical plant after i had topped it the required 3 times?

do you all think this would be a good way to start mother plants, obviously topping more than 3 times?

Those are good questions Legal. I dont have a "time line"..Im not that organized..I always veg a long time.
I love to grow these plants...and I can veg them anywhere, But I only have the one little tent to flower in
Now I forgot the question...Shoot man I dont know...I just grow em

I tied down few for a while..But, It takes more room that I dont have inside right now
mostly just letting them grow a bit now and letting little branches grow to be used for clones
Later I may try to spread them out a bit

quick update, I stopped topping these @ 8 tops a couple have 6 or 7 tops due to accidents. I wanted to keep going to 32 but i ran out of run in veg. couple tops r burnt fem the T5s(got to close)

The are not Mainling, but they were inspired by mainlining and I'm pretty proud of them, If I could get all my GSC forums to do this I could make them yield!

Great detail. Simply an awesome thread. I've always been trying to make my plants look like yours. Here is a Strawberry D at harvest that I just kept topping. Your method would of been more efficient I believe. I let this one veg too long and it almost overgrew my space.
