I have been out of growing for about 3 yrs now do to divorce and hiding all my grow equipment but coming this week end ill have it all back together. I have 2 small plants going at the moment a diesel from dna genetics and a blue widow.. there only around 5 weeks old but the deisel has some heavy branching going on and very squat and almost no spacing for internodes.. I just started to LST today
My question is what type of plants scrog the best? I dont think these will stretch to much when flippied i would post some pics but lost my wire for my camerea.. but will try get a new one soon.. your grow is looking so awsome bro just beautiful I had to throw you some complements!! i am so impressed by all the tops you have in there..

Sounds good good bro, what did you think of the 707? I heard the original 707 is lights out when grown proper.

Thanks for the kind words bro, I personally think that strains that veg fast and stretch a little bit are the best for scrogs because you can continue to train them the first 2 weeks or so into flower. This is my first run at a scrog so I couldnt tell you how different strains react to the training but out of all the ones in my scrog I would say the black widow reacted the best to the training. So maybe you have a good candidate with your blue widow.

Thanks Tabor it means a lot coming from you man. I saw what you did with the white under a 150 with a scrog. Just trying to hit my stride. I have plans on doing one on a bigger scale next time, I am thinking about using 3 x 3 concrete reinforcing mesh on my new setup.

Time for a quick update and some bud porn for you farmers. We are at day 40 of flower and I am gonna push these girls another week or so before I start my flush. Most of the cloesups are bubblegum except the second to last is the UK Cheese and the one directly below the light is black widow.

I am hoping to get a couple elbows, we will see what happens. Its already sticky and stinky I can only imagine in another few weeks.

Thanks man, yea I am flushing on week 6. Last time I chopped the bubblegum at day 52 with about 20% amber. I think I will push the BG to day 56 this time and the cheese and black widow will probally go to day 60-63 with an extra 1 week flush. I may keep a plant or 2 in there to go to 70. I like doing it this way because I can stagger my harvest and chop each strain at the point where I like it.

Trichs are cloudy right now on the bg, still clear on the widow and cheese. I am going to do a progressive flush. I am just going to run strait RO water for 1 week so the plants can use the built up nutes in the rockwool and hydroton. After that I will flush with clearex and feed with evaporated tap water until the end. There is plenty of nutrients left in the plants and the medium to do a 2-3 week flush.

The smoke is very tasty. The bubblegum is a great commercial strain, it finishes fast and yields nicely. I think pairing it with the aliendog would increase the potency and possibly shorten the flowering and increase the yield. Sounds like it could be a good match.
