I had to clone "A" again because I think I am losing the one clone I took so far to rot very similar to hot pepper plants "damping-off."

So, I took 5, figured one of those suckers should take hold. With the current winter heat wave we're having here in So Cal, I hope that the heat will not cause issues for me.

Took a close up of the new growth since in flower of "B". I am very happy with her growth, very strong, supple branches.

I'm trying something a little unconventional, up-potting as soon as they show sex (during flower - I know, lots of possible negatives, but wtf, lets try it). If one were to look back some photos ago, I did it to "B", from a #1 to a #2 pot with custom soil mix. I have a few purposes for this which I will not go over, but the plants seems to be responding very well (plants from simultaneous grows considered, only one M.T. has shown herself to me so far).

I could possibly achieve the same outcome with nute adjustments, but I need the males to remain in small pots.

I up pot during flower all the time :)Not all plants like it. A majority of them respond quite well for me with larger yields. The ones that don't like it take longer to finish but typically yield the same.

When u uppot in flower I find the roots wont develop and You will not harvest as much..if u let them veg hard a couple weeks after repotting your yields and quality much better

I haven't found any difference in quality with repots during flower. I have experienced a larger yield while repotting after flowering has started. The plants left in the smaller pots compared to the ones repotted have a much smaller yield. This is all I meant. Agreed more VEG after a transplant will be overall better and will give a larger yield. But if you already induced flower and dont have time to reveg don't be afraid to repot it won't hurt.

Of the three genetics I have done it to, the Chemdog 91 and Mango Tango seem to love it. But I am not sure about the ak-47. We will see though.

No pics yet, but MT "A" is a boy. I can hopefully make some F2's...

"A" is staying pretty stout. Not stretching as much as "B" did.

Awesome. I'm picking up a few packs for my male hunt. I got girls :( I wanted to chuck some MT pollen at Urkle.

@TurtleTree - I only wish I could help!

I was able to get some pics off last night before bed.

"A" - male - stout, thick, hollow stems, broad leaves, dark green leaves, unsure of how much he will stretch though.

"B" - I chucked some Chemdog 91 sk va pollen at it from my best male from the one pack I bought. In the last pic, you can really see the Sativa stretch going on. I predict a little more stretch still to go based on the flower structure so far. I think this plant REALLY loved my up-potting. You can imagine it started flowering about as tall as the pot that it is in now, give or take an inch or two. We are right around a 3x stretch, and I think she still has another 6-12 inches in her. Hopefully she doesn't stretch as much as my Sage n Sour (which did a 4x stretch), though it is filling in super nicely.

These are looking real nice grow guy . but just so you know...weed stops growing roots during flower . you will find if you take two cuttings and put one into say a 3 gallon pot,and one in a 1 and a half gallon pot and veg em then flip them . then put the cut in the smaller pot into a 3 gallon 3 weeks in flower you will see how the plant potted into the bigger pot first will yeild a good bit more . so to sum up your better putting em in bigger pots BEFORE flip . you risk stressing your plants other wise . the MT,s are looking awesome anyway bud and your little mantis are cool!

Very interesting, thank you. I will actually try that next season. This season, I actually am forced by my situation to up pot after they show sex because my male flower cabinet is very small. So they cannot be in larger pots.

Next year, though, I will be making a larger male flower area.

Though I've been growing for some time now, chucking pollen is new to me, so I'm learning how to deal with thems guys too. so far so good except I have a few unauthorized seeds on my chem plant because I wasnt careful enough when pollinating...Oh well, these seeds will go into the random pile for future fun.

Sorry for type o 's, on my phone at work
