One offers parole, and one does not, plus the FEDS put you in any prison, ANYWHERE in the country, even if it's thousands of miles from home. At least if I get a State Case I know where I am headed, and I only do like 1/6th of my time, assuming I can behave while in the slammer.....

So yes, it matters..... you don't want a Federal Indictment, ask Eddy Lepp! What, he got 10 years, is he even half-way done? Probably not.... Meanwhile, Craig Rubin has done a state sentence, been out, started another shop, and is back in AGAIN!

I dunno, man... it sure seems to me that locked up = locked up. The feds I won't fuck around with is the IRS. They own and run this nation, but that's another rant entirely.

Are you saying that if you're indicted on a federal charge there is no possibility of parole once sentenced to doing time in prison? I just did a very quick search and while it's often sentence/crime dependent, there is a parole and early release system in place at the federal level.

If you don't know the answer to that basic Law 101 question, then you would be better off finding another career ... or just turn yourself in now.

Damn this thread got off track! Whenever I get on the farm I notice most people are visiting the the CO section. Leads one to wander if most the growers in the world now reside in Co? No wander I have no desire to relocate to Cali.

Indeed. As I understand it, federal prison is much nicer all the way around than state. And there is a parole system, so....? Beyond that, it's all about time, and I know factually in Cali that they're anxious to get people behind bars, keep the money wheels nicely greased.

I guess I'll go find another career (as if I'd made growing a career). :makeup

No parole for Fed Prison..... prior to 1987 there was parole, so there still is a parole board for Fed Inmates.... but not for anyone on this board!

100 Plants of more, MANDATORY MINIMUM 5 YEARS. You do like 54 months of that.......

State time, out in 18 months? Maybe less, maybe halfway house after a YEAR....

Ok then, no parole. Determinate terms with a supervised release component is what it's called.

My point is that being visited by any LEO (or the IRS agents who come with guns, pers. exp.) is ALWAYS unpleasant, and once you're behind bars, it doesn't matter if the time being served was dictated by a court of your state or by the federal government. You're still incarcerated and your house has still been tossed.

It's like worrying about how you might be butt-raped. Once you're butt-raped, you're butt-raped.

people selling clones or people that have many mums and clones on site as well as flowering plants are all way way over the limit? no?
if you have 20-40 mums and take a few clones off each mum thats a few hundred clones easy + not to mention if you have others in flower this would put 90% of peeps over the limit no?..i take it that its impossible to have many strains going these days with clones and flowering plants in a basic setup? how does one have his cake and eat it to these days without going way over these small time limits?

Crazy huh? Almost makes it worse than what we were doing before(before MMJ). Now you have to do flippin math! Personally im just going to fade away and watch what happens...like what you mentioned to me before.
