Oh almost forgot! I had problems getting trimmers last year that cost me because of rain so this year I should have nice colas with the outdoor scrog grow and most of the work will be done on this! Except behind and between the buds and any fine detail work.

I fertilized and watered and filled my tanks back up so far today . I`ve nearly a full 150 gal still in the truck to replace the water used in the morning. Time for breakfast. Tomorrow night I` going to town to do shopping ,laundry and pick up my son for a few more days work. We`ll tie and start training the larger plants and work on the scrog screens. Like to get them all done ASAP cause I still have other things I could be working on. I think I have all I need to put a roof on the shed but need plywood for the walls. I don`t need much to put a better roof on the generator shed. The next thing if I have the funds will be the frame for the tunnels over the beds. If the funds aren`t here for that yet I still have camp clean up, brush to remove and I`d like to do some trash clean up in the near by Forrest. I hate people who dump there trash out in the woods!

I watered again tonight so will need more water in the morning. Last year I used about 150 gal of water a day. This year I`m using 450 + per day! It`s going to be hard to keep up with watering and get other projects done! I`m trying to keep all my water tanks full all of the time so I have back up if the truck breaks down or a pump goes out. It will be nice when my son moves up here and can help me every day!!!

Thinned out the males, separated the females from the unknowns, watered and refilled the tanks. Getting ready to pick up my son for a work visit. I`ll do some laundry shopping and what not also. Were going to start the training tomorrow and plant a few potted plants in tubs. May also put up some of the scrog screens. Plants sure showed a jump over night from the ferts and extra water!

Decided to go in the morning. I had a little more time that way and got one more load of water. 1/3 went to cleaning the dust off the RV and camp area and the rest went right out of the tank onto some of the beds. I think I`m going to water this way all the time! One less step and it gives me 1600 gal. of back up water. Got to run the pump on slow though as it got away from me and the nozzle hit me pretty good in the head. I also got a nice sprinkle out of watering, not enough to pass up tonight's shower though. there could be some thunder storms tonight but can`t count on any rain. My luck I`d get hail ,not good for the uncovered plants!

Took my son back today. We got the garden soaked and tied. Pictures coming! Thinking may not do the scrog this late in the game. I`d lose a lot of nodes and production. Nothing under the screen would produce. Instead I`m thinking of doing some training to keep the branches stretching out side ways where they will all get good light and cover the beds much like the screen would do.

Yesterday when I went to the creek to pump water my little dam was broken up and everything was tossed around by a bear. He didn`t brake anything, but my beer was not in the creek anymore. Dam boozer! I was looking forward to a cold one!

Oh got a few more peeks at others near by gardens. Doesn`t look like my plants are very far behind others. I was thinking mine were small as they were put out a little behind schedule but seems that they are catching up in size fast! I still expect a good yield and because I`ve grown these strains before I know the quality will be there. Going to start another batch of tea soon. Got to keep these bitches nourished , hydrated and happy!

Yes but when you do a scrog everything that spreads out under the screen gets picked clean as soon as it covers the canopy. you lose all those nodes that would have made buds. That`s fine if you have time to let nice tall colas form above the screen but it`s a little late to expect that now. Also some of the plant stems are getting woody and it would be hard to train them for a scrog this year. If I forget the screen and train them out like it was there I will have all the node sites and the plants will have a good light coverage. It will involve more work on my part is all.

I managed 5 loads of water with the 150 gal tank in my truck yesterday. 3 went right on the plants and 2 in the 1000 gal holding tank. The 325 and 275 gal tanks are full and the 1000 gal tank is now half full. I`ll be trying to do the same today. Sure wish I had a 300 gal transfer tank for the truck ! Maybe next year. the Honda wx10 water pump is a life saver though! It`s so small and light and a water hose hooks right up to it.

Got up late today so not going to make my quota of water runs . Good is; beds just don`t need watered today, bad; had to pull 7 large males. I still have plenty of large replacements and actually have more plants than I`ll be able to keep up with anyway. Just got through watering the plants in tubs so can`t transplant any today. I really feel tired ,soar, and run down. I`m still working on sexing a few potted plants and may still find a few males that slipped by me. That`s ok I need to cut my overall count down and may end up with less than 99 plants due to not being able to keep up with that many anyway. I still think 100 lbs. is very likely for yield. Most likely a very conservative estimate. I could still get twice that much yield.

If I can get three tunnels and my dry shed done I shouldn`t lose much to mold this year. With the new trimmer I should have a quicker time trimming and be less dependent on trimmers showing up. Security still needs to be done but it`s covered very well for this year.

Thinking I really need to build a temporary cabana over the RV. It would provide more room when my son comes, more drying room if needed and would allow for a wood stove this Winter. I have the metal roofing and can cut poles for much of the frame work just need some lumber and plywood, a window and doors. Maybe some cement and I already have a mixer. Insulation and some finishing touches. It would have to be taken down in a few years when I get down to the creek but much of it could be built to come apart in sections and reused. I was thinking of working on a swamp cooler, converting it to 12 volt. That way it could be run off solar and batteries in the hot season, cutting down on generator usage and fuel costs. The generator would be better used for fans and lights if I decide to convert the tunnels into full greenhouses and run an extra crop right after harvest. I think if I look around for used lumber, doors, windows, etc. I could put a cabana in on the cheep. Thinking start with lodge poles and build a cover over the RV 30 ft long x 20 ft. wide. It would then be twice as wide as the RV. Then put in a skirt around the bottom of the RV and build a deck in front, frame it in with a window and 2 doors on ether end . Add a wood stove, ceiling fan and wire for lights both 12 volt and 120 volt. I could move my leather sofa, entertainment center and oak table and chairs into the cabana from storage, I also have the hunter ceiling fan and dinning room chandlers from the house in storage. Could make it cozy. My brother has Direct TV so I could get a program card for my Direct TV Go that runs off 12 volts. It`s got a flat dish, screen, and receiver in a suite case. They won`t let you have one as your main signal but it is made for taking on camping trips so finding someone who has service is nice. It would only cost the price of an other receiver per month. I could also hook up a dish on a poll set in a tub filled with cement and if I got ahead enough I could add a 32" flat screen HDTV. Oh and my old Sansui component stereo system out of storage would be real nice ! Might sell off most the rest of the stuff and save $70 a month storage fees.

This Winter when I get ahead I want to buy a jeep to run to town in when I don`t need a truck. I will also ether fix the 85 Silverado 4x4 or go through the 88 3/4 ton 4x4 Silverado. Thinking of doing both but may make the 88 into a flat bed with a larger water tank bolted down or make it into a dump bed and add over load springs. It could still be used as a water truck and a dump bed that way. I`ll need to move fire wood and get gravel for the road at some point, not just have a dedicated water truck.

Today was a lazy day, only worked half the day. Most of that was unplugging the head. Shitty job! I`m going to do a few water runs tomorrow in the morning then visit the kids just up from me. They gave me two big Banana Kush plants if they aren`t to large to dig up and also need to pick up the 10 bags of manure they gave me. They also gave me some lodge polls but I`ll need an army to pick them up. Not sure how that`s going to happen yet.

I am waiting on payday to go to town. My rebuilt Honda EB6500x is done and will swing by my twin Daughters and see the Grand Kids while in town. A garden a mile away got busted with 250 plants a few days ago. I could hear the choppers but couldn`t see them from here.
