Well it`s starting to heat up. temps in the lower 90`s now. Makes working in the afternoon miserable. I`m just doing mornings and evenings. Slows me down a little.

Well it`s starting to heat up. temps in the lower 90`s now. Makes working in the afternoon miserable. I`m just doing mornings and evenings. Slows me down a little.

Sorry for no updates but I have so many irons in the fire and am being a slow old guy. I`ll post some pictures when I have something worthy. I started some willow tea for the young girls as a root stimulator and will be adding some raw coconut water as a foliage stimulator next. All the frames are wired and stained but I`m putting in more support for the hoops before I go any further. I learned my lesson on trying to put the support wire in before I stained many of them. I won`t be putting in the hoops right away but need to plan ahead this time! I went and got all the pluming for the 1000 gal water tank because that project will be next on the list after I line the beds with ground fabric and fill the beds with soil. I`m still looking into soil prices and thinking ahead now to the next stage of progress, water! All my plants are still in pots for now however. I picked up a few Purple Voodoo and Toxic Lemon cuts and have started to root them. Not sure what I`ll do with the extra plants yet. I was also thinking of taking cuttings from the Purple Diesel and the Guerrero Kush clones that were given to me.

I had some small progress today but it was hot. It`s going to get hotter the next few days. Never fear because my daughter is getting evicted and asked for my help. She`s moving in with her twin. My son is behind on his rent and is awaiting on an appeal for unemployment. I just can`t put out the money right now so offered to let him move in with me if it comes to that.

It was way hot today. I did my chores and turned the generator and AC on watched a dvd and took a nap. Didn`t get krap done.

I`m starting out early the next few days and working until it gets hot. I`ll try to do water runs in the afternoon and work again in the evening until it gets dark.

I`m running way behind !

Started out cool with some clouds then thunder. Next hard rain that lasted about an hour. I started working again after the rain when mist came rolling in so hard I couldn`t see 3 foot ahead of me. Still kept working until my staple gun began to have problems loading staples. It won`t work when wet I guess. I`m trying to dry it out and may go on a water run or supply run if that doesn`t work. Dam and it`s kind of cold now. Bones are feeling it. I was making so much progress Too!

I believe i'll watch the markscastle outside grow this year after putting it off for the last several years ..... pulling up a seat if you dont mind being...... peace SoSer

Got a little over half of them lined with ground cover fabric and did a water run. Tomarrow is going to be a run down the hill day but I`m going to try to get more done in the morning first. I can almost taste the dirt work coming now! Oh yes!!!

Should be ready for soil in a few days! I just priced 40 yards at about $2,200 delivered. Along with my 12 yards I have I`ll need another 5 yards. Thinking amendments and extra worm castings on the 5 yards and I`ll hull em in the truck. I can carry about 2 yards at a time in my truck.

So cool reading your progress MC.... guys like me in the midwest can only dream of farming like you do. It really is a marvel. Thanks for sharing!

Yep it`s different out here in Cali but one must remember you can still get life in the big house on a Federal level. Gots to keep it under 99!

Started to town and the gas line from the tank burst on the truck. Got towed to town from just off the dirt roads. Got nothing done but refilling my gas tank some food and checked the mail on the way home. I guess I`m part of a class action suit against the bank and may get even more $ in a settlement. Still haven`t got anything from the State settlement yet but the Fedral settlement has already paid. In all I`ll still be out tens of thousands and the Bank will have made a prophet for being crooks! And not one person went to jail!!!! Please boycott all major banks!

Dam I had to light the heater last night! It should get into the lower 80`s today but it is almost noon and 68 degrees. My bones hurt so bad I can hardly move!!! I got to get stuff done dam it !

I was hurting bad earlier so took a pain pill and a long nap. It was to late to go to town but I did feel better so I finished lining all the beds. Just got to fill with what I got in the way of soil ,clean up the area and order the 40 yards of soil. Pictures coming soon!

Spoke to soon! I recieved a letter from the State of California, Dept. . of Justice and almost had a heart attack, then I opened it to find a check from there settlement against Wells Fargo. Not near as much as I was hoping for but it will come in handy.

I cleaned up the area where they will deliver the soil to, moved the 275 gal water tank into place and started filling the beds with some of the soil I have on hand. Going to be ready for that soil delivery on time! My son may come up again and lend a hand filling the beds. I hope to fill the smaller tanks with water before the soil gets delivered but we`ll see if I can get that far .The 1000 gal tank will have to wait until the beds are filled.

Almost forgot I got the lumber to put up the scrog screening and some of the lumber to rebuild the roof on the drying shed as well.

Truck made it this morning, 40 yards delivered. Time to bust ass!
