I know, still need to take some bud shots as well but you have to understand I can hardly walk right now and even though it`s a little better this morning it`s still hard to keep up with even the simple tasks these days.

I spent Christmas eve with family before coming back up the hill. Had a good time despite my leg hurting. Hope you are all having a good Christmas and can be with family and friends. Smoke one for me! Be safe though, please!

Happy Holidays MC and be careful man i broke my back awhile back and actually lost feeling in my legs for 15 minutes u dont want or need that fosho. Grow game will wait on ur recovery thats for sure. Nice thread man idk how u do it i was thinking u gotta be the healthiest most energetic dude to be doing it how u do it man u got one helluva grow be carefull, stay safe and take it easy n get better man cant wait to see what u do in the new year.

Just got back from town. I was in the hospital 3 days. Was in the shower in the rental in the valley when I passed out. Son called 911 and the ER doctor said I`m diabetic. They think my leg and foot problems are from nerve damage. The Doctor put me on pills and I need to get an appointment for follow up. Starting to feel a little better now. The wife ..er ex- wife died from type 1 , What I have is different as it is type 2 .

shit man , i know the feeling i also have type 2 .
when i found out my sugar was almost 550.
felt dizzy and weak and had a yeast infection .
glad to see your getting treated .
hope you feel better soon !

I`ve yet to see anyone about it except the ER Doc. I`m wondering if there is anything that can be one about the numb feet as it`s hard to get around on them. I guess it`s nerve damage. Does it get better? I have a hard time walking more than 10 feet without a rest and pain keeps me up at night. I can ignore the pain for the most in the day time. ER Doc put me on Metformin 500 mg and told me to eat 5-6 small meals a day until I can get in to a regular Doctor. My blood sugar was 165-173 in the ER over the three days. But I was also sick with the flue/cold and not holding anything down. Kept me because of being dehydrated.

I need to get better quick as I have a krap load of things to be doing! This started during harvest. I`m having a time of it just taking care of myself an my animals on a daily basis. My Son has been a big help! I just don`t want to be a burden to him.

Still haven`t got my Medical/Medicaid card in the mail, but it was turned on. Soon as I get it I`m off to a doctor and will be getting new glasses and seeing a dentist! Flue /cold is about gone and I have energy again so feeling better but still have a ways to go.

Got appointments for a eye doctor and a MD first week of the new year. I`m doing ok but still having foot pain and problems sleeping. Just taking it easy for now. Hope we all have a better year in 2014 ! Stay safe.

Sorry to hear that, Marc! I hope they figure things out. Hope u have a good year. Take care of yourself, bro. My mother in laws boyfriend was in a coma ffor a ffew days. His level was over 1700. They said he's lucky to be alive. He tests at the rate ur talking about all the time and takes insulin shots now. My grandparents were both diabetic and I worry about my mom as well.

Thank you Rival ! I am feeling better and with proper care hope it will be a continued trend.

I spent the day supervising the emptying of one of my storage units. It will save me some funds in time. I now have all of the usable furnishings in the house in the valley and combined the rest into one unit that is much closer if I need anything. I didn`t do more than pick through boxes and decide where they belong but just watching all that work wore me out!

I was all set to watch the Chargers game today but it is blacked out. Fuck the NFL !

Went to the Doc today. He gave me Gabapentin for the nerve pain, it helps some. I also will need some lab tests done. Going back in two weeks after tests are done. Looks like I`ll be in and out until I get my blood sugar under control. Next is the eye Doc and I need to get into a Dentist soon also. Your health is your wealth! I`m going to really start working on better health!

Got bad news ,my daughter`s cancer has grown back after her operation. They are going to try again and then put her on more chemo afterwards. She has two young boys who need their mom so please pray for her!

I`m looking into the phoenix tears!

Hi Mark, I am glad you are getting medical treatment but sad to hear about your daughter. F cancer. It sounds like you have neuropathy in your feet and legs. Diet can help control type II. Cut out sweets and watch how much fruit you eat it's high in sugar. Here's a study that is addressing your problem. Smoke or vape low THC high CBD.

ABSTRACT:

Neuropathic pain is caused by an insult to the nervous system and accounts for 25-50% of all pain clinic visits. Excluding low back pain, diabetic peripheral neuropathy is the most common neuropathic pain syndrome with an estimated prevalence of 600,000 cases in the United States. There are only 5 medications approved by the FDA for the treatment of neuropathic pain with only 2 out of the 5 approved for the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Currently, there is a desperate need for more therapeutic agents for the treatment of neuropathic pain. We propose to use painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) patients to study the efficacy of inhaled cannabis on neuropathic pain. We will enroll 20 subjects with each subject acting as their own control; receiving both placebo and three doses of inhaled aerosolized cannabis (low, medium, and high) in random order each separated by at least two weeks. Subjects will be assessed for reduction in pain, changes in normal sensation, changes in cognition, and effects of cannabis on experimentally induced pain. Our hypothesis is as follows:

  1. Cannabis will result in a dose dependent decrease in the spontaneous pain and qualitative pain descriptors.
  2. Cannabis will have no effect on acute sensory thresholds as measured by the QST.
  3. Pain relief will occur at cannabis doses that do not significantly affect cognitive function.
Cannabis will decrease experimental pain as measured by the BTS. The effect on the BTS will correlate with the decrease in spontaneous pain of DPN.
