Mega Cropping New Strains.

Hello everyone here are a few pics of my Skunk#2xGrandaddy Purps. 40Gal container, water fed only, until next week. Been growing this old method of Mega Cropping for a few years now. Always had great results. I will keep updating pics every few days. Other strains that will be featured include Super Silver Haze and a group of Mystery Strains. (Bag seeds) cant wait to see what becomes of those.

Soil is a home blend of Fox farms Ocean forest, peet moss, vermiculite, perlite, bat guano, bark chips, worm casrings and trace minerals. Hand blended, saturated then cured before planting.

Yea, the actually were alittle yellow from the 400watt. But they have all greened up now, lights come on at 5am, so updated pics soon.

Looking good bro, just started my first seed bed grow this summer, and am curious how the SSH comes out. These are both strawberry diesel.

Very nice pics. This will be my 3rd time runnng the SSh this way, always had an excellent yeild. As long as you lst your plants properly, you can mnage fantastic yeilds. Never had a nuite or root problem. Cant wait to see how your plabts turn out.

Was going to pick up some Greenhouse SSH beans but haven't got around to it yet. It's one of my favorite strains to smoke. That's why I picked up SD I love the fruity yet diesel taste. Good luck man I'll be watching!

I think you would be better off looking at MR NICE SSH.Heard alot of bad things about greenhouse seeds.Shantibaba was original breeder and helped set up mr nice seedbank

Yea alot of people have been saying that some of there strains have been duds..defiantly not good for business.

Mrblaze, I seriously would have a neutral soil without any amends for your seedlings , looks to be really messing with them

Yea, soil is a little much for em at first but thats only because i didnt have the proper microbial additives and never used and nutes before transplanted. May get them alittle shocked but i find that even with them starting slower then they would if i had them in sperate containers., they always bounce back stronger.
However any advice or helpful hints will still be helpful.
What have you done to help prevent this type of nutrient burn? (If youve experienced it)

One plant per pot too - otherwise you have competition for resources.

I would just plant all of them in some basic soil like sunshine mix or pro mix until you can take them out safely... But since your doing it the multi plants in a pot your kinda.... Like you said.. Waiting for them to get big enough to handle the soil. I think you'd get better faster better results switching to a different soil and pushing them with a fert you like because your not going to be transplanting them from their current pot right?

Please keep in mind that these are 40gal containers. There will not be competition for nutrition or soil space. Each plant will have more then enough soil for root expansion.
Basically using a shorter veg cycle allows the plants to take up a good amount of soil space (root growth) tgen when in flower males get cut, microbes eat the dead root system before root rot. Happy heathy females with strong roots.

I count 16 plants in the biggest container haha? Mother of god. Flip them fast
So they don't go through your pot size... And if they are from seed you might be ripping some out anyway... Hmmm I dunno this is all very different to how I grow so I can't speak much. The previous poster had good results though from 4.

My suggestion still though is it's gonna take the plants 3-4 weeks to bounce out of that soil shock.. IMO that's not worth it at all, that's 25% longer then I grow to get the same yields so I'm cropping a whole crop more then you every 4 cycles

Yes this method calls for zero transplanting. I will be starting bio root,and bio thrive this up coming week. Rite now im letting them show me which ones are the strongest.
