They look absolutely stunning BH.... you must have the patience of a saint to take these strains as long as they go. How do you like your trichs on these? For such a genetically speedy buzz, what happens if you let her get amber - sideways??!

Also, have you bred her out with something that finishes a bit faster? Just wondered if it's possible to get some of that quality without going the full 12-14 weeks...

I like to see some amber triches before I chop, this takes 90-95 days with El Yuc, took her at 91 (13 weeks) last time, might let her go 14 this time. The longer you let her go, the more potent she gets but it's always a speedy high with no body stone whatsoever, pure rocket fuel for the brain.

I have crossed El Yuc to my PA male and have two females flowering now, the PA pheno looks amazingly like the Flo cut I ran recently but fatter buds, the Mexican pheno looks like El Yuc but with some pink/purple tints on the calyxes and a little bit more resin, she takes 10-11 weeks so is a fair bit faster, sadly the Mexican pheno produces a few male nanners and they contain pollen so I am going to have to work this line more to get rid of the hermie trait.

I know you cut them down earlier than you'd have liked, but there's still some white pistils showing. Is that normal/okay....in that is trich development more important than pistil death in determining ripeness? Sorry for the nub questions....I always thought pistils went first, then trichs...but on yours and others I've seen white pistils in chop shots.

Cheers guys. here's the H.O.G. at 90 days, still needs a bit longer, I think I will take her at 95. She was slightly overfed as you can see from the clawed leaves, and she got too close to the HPS so got a lil bit burned on some leaves, and after 15 days of flushing has started to yellow nicely, I've got a nice clone of this ready to go straight into my new tent under a 400 as soon as this one is chopped, I shall pollinate the next one with a Trainwreck male, the TW seedlings are in veg now.

The yield on this thing is outrageous for a landrace sativa, has the sorta yield you expect from SSH and the buds are pretty chunky too, not that solid but not airy either, that main cola is huge, the side buds are the size of the tops on most plants I grow, wonder how much I can get out of this gal under my new 400?

The El Yucateca is dried and is being enjoyed over xmas.

Yielded somewhere between 35 and 45g, I smoked some before I remembered to weight it so not sure on precise figure, but I reckon around 40g, which is a nice yield for the size of the plant and the grow space I grew it in.

Sadly she has about a dozen seeds from when the Oaxacan pheno that turned nastily hermie spunked on her, you can see a couple of these in one of the pics.
