MH vs HPS should I be switching back and forth??

Is it still considered to be the best policy to veg with MH and then switch to HPS for flowering? Has anybody tried variations on this?

HPS for everything thats how the dutch do it so why change

i have a 150 watt hps that i use for 3 of my girls so your telling me that it is gonna be tall and not very bushy would adding cfls help any?

However, yes you can add CFLs to get better light coverage....


You can use either HPS or MH all the way from veg to harvest, probably better off going HPS all the way thru. I change from MH to HPS and also have a dual ballast so all I need to change is the bulb. It's not required but yea it's done all the time.
