I would imagine that would help with increasing immediate absorption, but might make things more acidic in the longer run. Didn't you say they were some type of granules you were using? Organic granules? I'm not familiar with either of the amendments you were speaking about. Sounds almost like a time release formula.

I certainly love some things about organics, but the waiting is not among them. I love the immediacy of organic salts. but there are certainly uses for both. tools in the chest, so to speak.

My kelp mixtures are the same way, there slightly alk going in, but acidify quickly, I think it's a microbial/enzyme reaction possibly, and usually happens over a day or so. My auxin/peptide/amino stuff is too. Personally, I'm always trying to consider what microbial activity will do, ahead of the curve and keep it within a certain range of 6 -> 6.5
as a general rule of thumb, I think this: if it's organic, it's alive and changes ph over time, usually toward the acid continuum.

But in general the waste from the nitrifying bacteria raises pH. From Teaming With Microbes.

no osmocote is slow release dry chemical salt based fertilizer. Ph down is made by general hydroponics.

I added the ph down but dont need it so it messed my plants up. I am getting better uptake all round not using it.

Thanks for the clarification, I stand corrected. I think this was touched on b4 and it didn't stick. It certainly will this time around. Some do, some don't, but the good ones raise ph w/nitrification. committed to memory by means of typing this.

Yea, so it's excessive fert's that sit around, stagnate that don't get converted, that really hold down the pH, that's also good too know.
It's really great to get a takeaway from all of this, thanks milson.

On a more serious note.

On the subject of aliens, that breed humans like livestock, why do you think they do these things? monitoring what we say and do, with those little nano-transmitters, putting them in McDonald hamburgers and Skittles. (Since the late 1950's) I'm on too them now, it's all clear now. I think they need us, because they know we've got the stable genes and resistance to bacteria and disease here on earth, breeding a hybrid together, it's a brilliant strategy, grafting their genes into another species to create a new type of creature. housing us like livestock and fattening us up for the eventual culling of the herd.

Maybe flu is too git rid of the runts and diseased? That would make sense, even aliens must have standards of some type.

here i will muddy it back up for you. Ammonium nitrogen lowers ph but nitrates raise ph.

I can hear them out there buzzing overhead, and making noise, watching. waiting. woo, woo, woo... I'm just wondering why they do it, what exactly is the purpose, the game plan. What's the noise part all about.

It could be a good thing, we all could be like Santa's little helpers, or serve a function like a horse, a dog, or a means to take corporeal form in a gravitational environment (among other things), so they can adapt to the environment here. A partner in crime, so to speak. They just want to help us, and help themselves. At least the good ones do. (at least that's how it appears, too me).

I think they've been working on us for hundreds, maybe thousands of years, (or more) and then all of a sudden, we just started getting much smarter, more advanced, or they made some sort of genetic break through. A super hybrid, with up to 7% alien.

If we are the super hybrid they have been working on then i assume our universe is some kind of intro project for the remedial classes aimed at their least-promising youth.

If a species can fly from their planet to ours, with out being seen, then I suggest we are just pets to them, or a love planet. lol

Yea, they seemed to overlook many of the many innate flaws in mankind, his pig like mentality, and his insane and many bizarre beliefs based upon ancient superstitions and fallacy. His sheer stupidity, his big mouth, his hubris, his destructive habits and inability to use simple reasoning over emotion. it's a long list, but it all stems form a belief that it's about a survival of the fittest, they've never managed to evolve from that basic predator. still stuck in the muck.

Cats are wonderful predators, but extremely predictable, it's a game to them. But cats put themselves out there on a ledge. camouflage can get you run over, if your not looking out. A moving target is harder to hit, but easier too see. it's like when I play Quake, it always pay's to have the correct weapon in hand, it really games the fight.

I can give other examples. it's just my enlightened way of thinking about things.
If them Qanon people ever find me out, my ass is probably in the wood chipper. "we loved him so mulch"

Or maybe we were onto something and they infiltrated us with "scientists" who have dripped out just enough propaganda to confuse us as they manage their hold in power....

My search is for the One True Entourage that will unlock the name of God in the form of a cannabinoid/terpene combo that will form His name in the smoke from my lips to defeat this scourge that walks among us and reconnect with the Real.

I am a CannaBabbler.
