This is interesting. I contacted dyna grow and asked why if the president knows cannabis only needs foliage pro and protect for proper growth why do they include bloom bottle in their cannabis directions. I got his info from the Dude Grows Show interview with the president of dyna grow.
His response was interesting.

Sorry if i didnt tag others interested in this. We have all talked pretty extensively about nutrients on our threads.
From the president of dyna grow.
When growing outdoors, bloom is not necessary. The gradual shortening of day length forces flowering. When growing indoors under lights where photo period is reduced to force flowering, bloom (high phosphorus) chemically reinforces the message of shorter days to accelerate the switch from vegetative growth to reproductive growth (flowering). Technically, it is not essential nutritionally but serves as a chemical messenger.

I have longer flowering times running a grow ratio to the end. But also higher yield and i think quality. The times were a bit shorter when i used to switch to bloom nutes. But also plants yellowed prematurely and yield and maybe quality suffered.
This fact has me thinking about Dirtbags term he used “crop steering”.
Thoughts anyone?
