Alright so I still have the plants going and they are starting to look better now, except for one PGC I trashed. Still no where near where I would like them to be.

I also yet again think the problem was something else besides the soil.

I realized today when opening my Grow Big nutrients that it had a strong vinegar type smell to it. Which i had not noticed previously. These were my leftover from last year and the new batch I got this year I opened the bottle and it's odorless. After doing a little reading its likely expired and this can definitely cause problems with the plants. I have given them this 3 separate times over the past few weeks. and I feel like thats when things kinda started going wrong.

Amending the soil has helped though, they are showing life and starting to get to their normal color. I will be amending the soil again after they have grown a bit more just incase that was the issue. I think it was the nutrients though.

Maybe there is still hope for them.

I also found a place that sells clones not far from me. I am going to take a look tommorow and see what they have to offer. If I see some good looking plants I might just start from scratch and get rid of the ones I have.

Picked up four clones today.

I dumped out the 1/3rd full bottle of my suspect fox farm grow big nutes and this is what I found inside..
Don't think thats normal.. it usually got a few clumps of clear what I assumed was salts but this is kinda crazy what came out just now.

Clones are honolulu blue and sex on the beach.

Starting to harden them off today.

Looking good man! Hopefully i still get something decent going this year. Im feeling more optimistic now though.

I had a decent start but now im way behind lol.

Still not entirely sure what went wrong with my first seeds. I think its a a combination of the light not being strong enough and the bad nutes i ended up giving them.

The four new seedlings I planted are growing great and much better than the original 6 I planted. I did upgrade the light. So maybe it was that mostly. I had to keep them under the lights a lot longer this year because of the cold weather. I usually had them outdoors faster. I tested the old lights under a light meter and they barely get out of the "dark" section. New lights are much brighter. Got 6500k bulbs instead of leds.

Mistakes were made but live and learn. Im still feeling optimistic.

The "best" looking of the original 6(sour diesel) make me sad to look at most days lol but surprisingly they are starting to actually grow now.

Will be gifting the new seedlings to family since I found the clones.

Only two of the original ones I kept. They are growing pretty good now.

The four new plants look awesome like 19 days old. I really messed the original ones up this year lmao.

Put clones into their forever homes one being the honolulu blue into the 50 gallon bag.

Went from panic to very happy. Things should be good this year still.

Little update today.

Original two I kept, have done a second topping on them already about a week ago. Sour diesel on left purple ghost candy on right.

The four newer ones topped them first time last week new tops already grown out a lot. Very close behind the original ones. Need to move them into bigger containers only in 1.75 gallon currently.

The four clones, really looking great very happy with them. Will probably get more next year. The one in the giant pot im not so sure about though. I haven't really been watering it but the soil is still very damp from when I initially put it into the pot(bags of soil were super wet) so I have a feeling its going slow from too much moisture in the soil because the other three are slightly bigger than that one now. First time trying the big pot so ill have to figure that one out lol.

Things have been going good. The one in the 50 gallon pot is the smallest lmao...
I think the soil has stayed too wet and it got stunted lol. I'll have to try a big one again another time.

Another problem has popped up lol.. go figure. One of the feminized seeds grew as a male and busted before I ever realized. I only saw a few pods open but as far as I can tell majority of my plants have now been pollinated. So that really sucks.

Sour diesel is like a foot over my head so thats cool at least. Two others pretty close to that too.

Also seems like I just crossbred potentially four different strains. Purple ghost x sour diesel/blue dream/sex on the beach/honolulu blue although the honolulu blue may be the only one that didn't get pollinated from the looks of them, and one of the same strain(purple ghost). The other 6 im pretty positive have been pollinated.
Very unhappy about the situation but nothing I can really do about it now. I reached out to seedsman and they are providing some free seeds because of this which is nice but doesn't neccesarily make up for my whole grow getting seeded. Its not all their fault though I should have been more diligent, I just never expected this would happen from feminised seeds. Live and learn. I'm still going to be consuming all of this cannabis and saving the seeds.

In other news my plants are doing good anyways.

Ohhhh man!!! Well that sucks. Being it was a feminised seed which grew male you wont have the most stable seeds....I believe you will have a bunch of herm creators!

I was concerned about that aswell. I thought since it grew as a full male and not a herm they would be okay. There were no pistils. They all started flowering and a few were moving slower. I just never noticed this one didnt even have pistils at all until it had balls lol. I could be wrong about the seeds. I'll probably save them still. I'm not too keen on using regular seeds anyways so doubt I'll use many of them. Maybe a few testers.
