Montana has some of the best smoke I have ever tried, And the climate up here along with the water is a miracle.
I am really stoked I came across this forum with fellow montana connoisseurs like my self. SILVERTIP I would have to say is my favorite strain to grow and smoke next to the famous S.A.GE. which I have not seen to much of at all up in montana, but I do PLAN on bringing to light a unique colorado blend of S.A.G.E to the location.
Montana has some of the best smoke I have ever tried, And the climate up here along with the water is a miracle. Let the breeding and the fun of genetics and this wonderful plant begin. I was in Three Rivers a week or two ago, and I would have to say yes, next to my personal and one others I have seen, they have some of the best really really fine smoke in the location, and I plan on coming in and re arranging another meeting to possibly get signed on board with the fun.
I just got done pollinating a silvertip with a very stinky bubblegum male, I am stoked to see what happens, and if it doesn't take, I have pollen to try again. I am very thankful for the progress and the beauty of the montana scene, I believe it is very important to give many many thanks and respect to the medical industry up here, to keep it alive, and legit, so all us connoisseurs and breeders can keep enjoying the symbiosis with such an incredible plant.
I think its the Gallatin green..a patient of mine says he has it..its supposed to be a old local strain...I have been working on a few..nothing to report yet though
I will say this is a Montana Specific strain even though I created it before arriving .... I arrived with the first runs kicking with legs
Blue Queen- Killer Blue from Joey Weed X SpeedQueen from Mandala,. Great daytime or clear minded high, with great flavor.
I can't wait to start some of my own projects and possibly sample taste some of the juicy projects comin out.. keep it up farmers
Well I have been gone for a bit and it looks like this MT section is really starting to pick up, nice. It all started in the "OK Montana, represent" and I believe I posted the first pics to set it all off. Well to get back on topic I have a few made in MT strains that I have or am currently working on:
1. Sour P (Purple Urkle X NYCD) finished
2. Purkle (purple Urkle X The Purps) testing
3. Night-Train (Trainwreck X Double Purple Doja) in development
4. Purple Gooey (Afgooey X DPD) in development
5. ( LA Pure Kush X DPD) in development
6. (Purple Urkle X DPD) in development
7. (The Purps X DPD) in development
PS The reason Bozeman Kush probably hits the back of your eyes is the Purple Urkle in her. My Purple Urkle does the same thing when you smoke her. Bam right it the back of the head/eyes LOL.
I confirmed with a patient..he got it from a lumberjack in the hills outside Bozeman, said he had been growing it for 20 years...Unfortunately my patient says it hermis like a mo fo...oh well:swear
Yes bakedreality, thanks so much for the props on the Vicsfruit, that really warms my heart! That bluequeen sounds so damn good, blueberry leaning? Shit that sounds right up my alley. I just got a cut of the blackberry kush, so excited to run her! That seattle strain sounds wicked, I know they have some super fire getting grown for years in that area.
If Kootenai's DW is the same that he brought to me one day I can verify the fire claim on her, reminded me a lot of the 91 chemdog, citrus with a diesel twist!
You guys bring so much to the medical cannabis community, we have to get together soon and start a breeding project......imagine that a fourway/fiveway breeding project, I think we could bring some serious heat to the court!!!!!
One of a kind that GG was. PEACE.
